Such a pleasant song! The only original song created for a Star Trek film until Star Trek: Beyond. Many fond memories of discovering this song as a teenager. The Moon is truly a window to Heaven!

Good question. Bobby actually wrote a few songs for Peter Cetera, Boz Scaggs and others back in the day. So I can see why you think that. Bobby really was a great singer and all-around musician. But songwriting was his true gift.

Sumptious Sax to conclude that performance. Bobby always did impressive improv vocal licks..thats what keeps musicians engaged and inspired. The subtlties of that vocal variance can be surprisingly inspiratuonal. Best love song writer of 20th century in my opinion.

Actually, that was for the first gig I did with him on the Y2K New Years show. Soundcheck only rehearsal for a worldwide TV broadcast. That was crazy!
