Sumptious Sax to conclude that performance. Bobby always did impressive improv vocal licks..thats what keeps musicians engaged and inspired. The subtlties of that vocal variance can be surprisingly inspiratuonal. Best love song writer of 20th century in my opinion.

0:16 "Heart Of Mine" One day I may Find true love that will last forever And ever Till then I'll spend A lifetime of wishing us together I never thought she'd say goodbye And I'll never understand The reasons why Heart of mine How will you keep from dying Stop reminiscing Who is she kissing Heart of mine Oh what's the use in trying No one can mend you now Love plays Cruel games I can't believe she's found another To love her Does she Miss me Sometimes I just can't help but wonder If I could stop the hands of time Then I'd know she'd always be Forever mine Heart of mine How will you keep from dying Stop reminiscing Who is she kissing Heart of mine Oh what's the the use in trying No one can mend you now

He has a Peter cetera quality. Why wasn’t he a bigger singer????!!!
@MachanTaylorOfficial Жыл бұрын
Good question. Bobby actually wrote a few songs for Peter Cetera, Boz Scaggs and others back in the day. So I can see why you think that. Bobby really was a great singer and all-around musician. But songwriting was his true gift.

@@MachanTaylorOfficial oh I know all about him writing for Boz. Boz version of heart of mine is my absolute favorite song I know every measure and nuance of bozs voice as I’m a singer. A great version is side a an Asian band. Listen to their version!! Let me know if u can if u do! They are wonderful !!

Bozz Scaggs too. Such a great voice. After the 90's the music was never the same, the good lyrics and musical arrangement. Then to really ruin it, the rap and Hip Hop noise - gangster noise, came into the scene. Really ruined everything. Can't call it music.
