I use "Skip Fishing" where so long as you've caught the type of fish legit, you'll auto catch it every time and can set a chance to have it be a perfect catch. I mainly use it for my partner who isn't good at the fishing minigame, and I (just barely) manage to get the Legendary Fish, including the Extended Family. I also have a Hatchery machine that lets me turn fish roe into live fish. Once every fish is Legendary, none of them will be, lol.

Abt 2 hours in currently and love this cause it’s totally helped me get more of an understanding of what to do in this game, I’ve had the game for years and to see you do smth within days that I never even knew was a thing has me more motivated to play

2:53 oh yeah that’s not right it should be something like 72 I believe for just expanded ridge and east so looks like some mods didn’t load 😢 but at least that first quest will be easier to get done.

16:48 finally an NPC that dosnt want to bed us (at least I hope they don’t I know nexus can’t have some really odd mods🤦) I’m in a play though at the min with the trinity of expansion plus the adventurers guild mods and I’ve got like 50 NPC’s confessing their undying love for me it’s like I’m in an anime (at least tenchi muyo only had to deal with 5 to 8 besotted people around him 😂)

It’s so sad when you find a really cool looking mod but find that it’s not been updated since 2017, I know the creators have real live getting in the way (I hate it when real life is like “”I know your in the middle of a really important Cutscene but I need you in the kitchen right NOW!””) but it’s so sad that they made this really cool thing that’s been abandoned 🥺 and no one as tried to remake it or one this one person had that idea.

3:17 ok so this done something that bugs me about other mods or I should say it doesn’t do it and that the art style of the portraits, these ones look like they fit in with the rest of the game while some mods just have god awful character pictures that are just so jarring I can’t touch that mod. Is mod I’m hoping is updated to 1.6 so I can have a look at it as it looks interesting.

So personally I think if your adding in an explanation you need to add in no heart decay and something like heart of the community that lets you gain friendship by just running past NPCs and saying hi as some times it could be a week or more before you see a person because you have other things to do. On a more cheaty note adding a mod that makes the day longer or even lets you pause the time really helps, it is countered by the fact that machines take longer to work or stop entirely if the time is paused but that’s a fair trade for been able to get around what is essential an extra game in the case of a mod like ridgeside.
