I love it all. All I would recommend to it is the Earthy Recolor mod. Tones everything down, makes it easy on the eyes and gives a nice cottage core vibe to the whole game. I have a new theme to play with now. Did just the medieval them now going to go do a cottage core theme! ❤

13:42 so your right but as you said that it got me thinking of another standard small village thing aka the apple orchard and by extension apple cider (I know there is a bit of confusion about this as some places call normal apple juice cider then call the alcoholic stuff hard cider but in the UK you have apple juice = non-alcoholic, cider = alcoholic, scrumpy = very very alcoholic, I don’t know exactly how it’s made but I believe they freeze the water off it after making cider which makes it even stronger) it may be in the base game I haven’t really checked but as most fruit make wine I’m assuming it will just make apple wine. On a side note my grandfather used to make his own potato vodka that was apparently so good he had waiting list for miles around, sadly I never got to meet my grandparents as the both passed before I was born so I only know them from story’s from my mum and brother.

17:23 ied say 80s is pushing it a bit ied say more of a 40s to 80s as by the time we hit the 90s it had become more modern but it was before the whole minimalist trend had kicked in, one thing I will say about furniture that old is it’s much better made than the stuff we get nowadays also really heavy to move😢 I can see what you mean with the next few images, that last one was very 70s and reminded me of Mork and Mindy.

I was wondering what you used for this recolor in the main screenshot of the video? For example the mayo machines have this soft pinky hue over brown and the whole image is just so cohesive and loyal to vanilla.

For the forest wood craftables mod is it suppose to be automatically applied? My craftables are still vanilla but it's installed and in the mod options in the game settings

Forest wood craftables has two versions of the file, if you downloaded CP (Content Patcher) it should replace vanilla. If you downloaded AT (Alternative Textures) make sure you have that mod too, then you can buy a paint bucket tool from Robin's shop and then use that to click on the craftables you want to change.

Yes so with that specific mod you can purchase a paint bucket from Robin, and when you use it on the building you can change how it looks!

Well Christmas of 2024 it looks like the tiny greenhouse mood didn’t make it or it didn’t show up at least when I searched for it which is a shame as that could of been cute and useful but I did fine another mod that will make do for what I’m after.

Definitely would not be lying if I said there wasn’t a huge range of clothes for male characters sadly 🥹 I am working on a clothing particular mod, and really want to find some for male characters, but it’s definitely a larger market/audience for females it appears, I truly do not think I’ve stumbled across a male clothing mod in my time of these videos 😭😭😭 I’m with you -- we need more!!
