As to the difference in feature sets, we get it--the iOS version is much more mature, having been in the market for more than 10 years, whereas the Android version was just released two years ago, and the huge variety of devices running Android (and the huge range of device capabilities) makes for an extra layer of challenge. The Android team is working full speed to get us closer to feature parity between the versions. Until we meet that goal, we will continue working diligently to create and refine what we humbly think is the best mobile video edit solution for Android/Chrome users. Hi there, at present that feature is only available on the iOS version. We leveraged a built-in capability in the iOS system to build our effect around, and this is not (yet) present in the Android ecosystem. 🍀 Actually, I should have known it intuitively: Easing is not only suitable for influencing the speed of movement. I never thought that the Ease effect could even be applied to volume, filters, color, blending etc., but (logical!): Everything that has to do with keyframes is now “easingable” 🤭. It will save us the need for a lot of individually sets of keyframes (number) and save a lot of time - and saving is a virtue, right 😉? Great! 🎥

I you have purchased Speed Ramping & Enhanced Keyframing (either one-off or as part of the new Creator Pass), you should be able to click-and-hold on the blue 'keyframe' ball in the Speed & Reverse editor, or anywhere else you can use Keyframes. If you are unable to do this with a click-and hold (like long press on iOS devices), please get ahold of Support: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support')--they'll get you going.

We limit this currently because not all devices are powerful enough to give users a pleasant experience with more than 6 tracks. Devices are getting faster and more powerful, and adding more tracks is definitely on our wishlist. Watch this space.

You add this in the upload process in KZbin, click on ‘thumbnail’ under the ‘details’ tab.

It sounds as though you want to know how to upload a thumbnail you've created in LumaFusion for use on your KZbin video, is that right? Do this by creating a snapshot of the Thumbnail in LumaFusion, which will be saved in your Photos app. Then in KZbin, where you upload a thumbnail, navigate to that thumbnail snapshot file in your Photos app. If I've misunderstood, please get ahold of our Support team, and they'll happily get you sorted: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). Nothing has changed with regard to where the main LumaFusion folder lives on your device. You should find the LumaFusion folder in Files > On My iPad. If you do not, please get ahold of our Support team with details of your device, OS version, and LumaFusion version. lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). They'd love to help get you sorted.

At present LumaFusion's toolset does not include a way to directly create a curved line of text. It is often possible to create a good effect by applying filters from the Distortions tab in the Color & Effects editor (it's the spiral one). Thank you for your interest, and happy editing!

Facebook doesn't offer us the ability to upload directly from LumaFusion. So to upload a movie you've created on LumaFusion, export the video to a volume you can access when you're on Facebook, then use Facebook's video upload feature to navigate to that video, and upload. Boom! Happy editing.

Thanks for the feedback. LumaFusion, the app, is a one-time purchase. When we develop new features based on customer demand, we understand not everyone will want them, but they still cost money to develop. So rather than raise the price of the app for everyone, we make them optional add-ons. If you find them of value, we're glad they're there for you to use. With regard to bitrates, we hear you. We are somewhat limited in what bitrate video we can export, because of the huge range of capabilities of the devices in the Android world. We want to make an edit experience that will be pleasant for everyone. Noise reduction is certainly on our wishlist. Thanks for using LumaFusion.

@LumaTouch thank you for a quick reply. I would appreciate if an option for higher output bitrates would be added and it would be up to user's needs whether he/she would prefer to select those higher bitrates even if it would mean higher file sizes. I don't think that increasing by 20-30Mbps would impact rendering times as app would need to use lower compression.

I will note this feature request to our developers' attention. Out of curiosity where are you publishing that you need bitrates faster than 150Mbps? (I ask not because we question the need, but because it's good to know our editors' use cases.)

@@LumaTouch I've done extensive testing in Davinci Resolve comparing output of where the phone footage seems to have the best retained quality versus the file size. If you do comparison of the file with 150Mbps bitrate versus 180Mbps and crop in for comparison you'll see visible difference in the quality on a 4k video output. Even if it means slightly larger file size it is definitely worth it as it gives better quality. As for for publishing videos Vimeo retains best quality whilst KZbin compresses files a lot but what matters is the actual file that is being uploaded. If it has low bitrate to start with then when uploaded there will be no quality left. In any case I edit videos most for my personal use (family videos, trips, etc.) and want to retain as much quality as possible in the output videos. By the way I shoot 4k videos at 240Mbps in order to retain best quality. I know 240Mbps is an overkill as quality between 200Mbps to 240Mbps is negligible.

@@LumaTouch A more pressing issue is exports on Android results in washed out colors. This just makes all exports unusable. I'm confirmed on rec.709 color space, but the exports look nothing like the preview window during editing. I'm on a ZFold5 and confirmed on reddit it's happening with a Zfold6 user as well.

Yes, sorry--this can be a bit confusing. Importing and restoring a LumaFusion Project Package is a different operation than making an edit from an SSD. At present the Project Package is designed to help ensure you can keep the Timeline and all of the assets associated with a particular project for use again in the future. When you restore a Project Package, LumaFusion will cache all the media on the device you're opening it on, regardless whether it was created from an SSD. We do hope to implement transfers of archived projects without media for relinking upon restore--that's definitely on our wishlist. Thanks for using LumaFusion and happy editing!

Storyblocks was going to cost the same whether you'd purchased the enhanced features as one-offs or not. This way you get all that value AND the royalty free libraries. Sorry you didn't benefit from that pricing boon, but thanks for your purchases anyhow!
