For other Portuguese style knitters: yarn-overs before a knit stitch can be achieved by placing your yarn in front of the needle, instead of behind it. So you'll bring your yarn to the front, slip 1 purlwise, *keep your yarn in the front* , and knit 2 together. Your pattern for each row will simply be [s1p, k2tog], just remember to leave your yarn in the front. Happy knitting!

I knit about 10 last winter and gave some to a charity. Making more this winter.... red is popular,❤

Hi, don't understand the row 2. Do you need to yarn over before you p2tog? But then you can't yarn over again since the yarn is already on purl side. thanks !!

Beautiful work! you teach so well! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I've been venturing into knitting recently and I don't know much. Could anyone help me and answer a question?… after row 8, just repeat all the rows until the desired size? I'm from Brazil and my English isn't good and the translator sometimes fails, so it wasn't very clear to me…. I must have done something wrong 🤦🏽♀️😅 repeat row (1, 2.8 for 16 times) or rows of (1 to 8 for 16 times)??? hahaha you make it look so easy! I've started over so many times and I still can't get out of line 8, today I did it but something isn't right 😂 help me please 😅

I followed the link of needles in the description part and I found the needles are much longer than the ones you used in the video. I also have that kinda long and have no idea how it’s gonna work. I’m learning knitting as a newbie. Could I have some advices?

This is really great, thank you for sharing. But hoping you will answer this. Does one have to use those specific needles or can it be done with normal knitting needles ?

Hi, thank you for a great tutorial! How many stitches would you recommend for a head circumference 58-59 cm?
@mirellamoments94552 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for your feedback. The hat is quite stretchy, so I'd recommend to cast on 2 or 4 additional stitches (56 or 58 stitches).

Your knitting instructions are very unclear..really 👎
@mirellamoments94552 жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry to hear, that the instructions seem unclear. I did my best to show the process. The pattern is really simple - it is a one-row repeat, that I've shown slowly and added written instructions. There is also a link to the written pattern on my blog.
