Hello! TCDRS provides their retirees with fixed benefit payments for their entire life. A “fixed benefit payment” means that the payment amount you receive in retirement will remain the same over your lifetime. Mr. Culberson retired in 2017, after nearly 50 years in aviation. He spent 21 years flying for STAR (Shock Trauma Air Rescue) Flight, Travis County’s helicopter medevac and rescue service.
