Yo, could you help me out on what I should aim next to improve after I got myself better gloves? Currently still doing 500k dps less than your endgame version but also missing 3levels at that. Build slaps and is really fun to play. I made about 50div in farming the past few days and got a Headhunter which I sold for 65div. how much currency would I need to transition this to the low life variation?

Any tips on how to craft the Endgame chest? I tried Dense Fossil and Essence of Woe spamming, couldn't even get above 2k Eva to start with and try to roll for spell suppress. Buying a fractured Necrotic Armor base with Spell Suppress is currently VERY pricey.

there's nooo way your "Target PoB" and more importantly the endgame are both under 3m dps right? how does this clear red maps...? or can u not calculate your own build's dmg

Since this build is cold dot , it should be able to run 100% ele reflect valdo maps right?

U forgot to mention the nerf to cast speed since they shadow deleted the cast/atk speed mods from flasks..

What, have you some way of knowing I've been scoping your build? I started a few days ago trying to work on your build but not knowing exactly how I was going to get there. I have been getting randomly one shot, but I bought most of the unique items for the build a few days ago so I hope all is good to go. The thing with Wintertide is the clear, it can kill bosses just fine, but the clear is pretty good, it can do most content in the game. Kind of a Jack of all trades. That said I can feel how much weaker it has been leveling. Though telling how much damage you can do, well I have no idea if PoB is remotely close.

You're version of the wintertide brand build gives me PTSD. I league started it, and the maintenance was so high I swapped to frost blades of katabasis shortly after getting my 4 voidstones. The fact that you intentionally make the playstyle more active with less cast speed and duration is insane to me. You even use a mana flask for sustain like a psychopath. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Other than that, great build dude. I really like how you creatively solved the armour problem. The warcry tech was pretty cool. DPS is solid, and the build is decently tanky. I'm sure players who enjoy a more active playstyle would find this very appealing.

hey m8 for years I was a get to tier 3 maps and quit the game and following your wintertide brand i got all my voidstones and Sirius down for the first time ever haha, thank you so much for this build.

I league started this build following your guide from 2.24 and have done very well with it. I put my own spin on it to add some tank and have gotten all 4 watchstones and can do T17s. I'll be interested to see what you changed for this league tomorrow. Gotta say it was very cheap to get going with so many on the melee train this league.

Hey Owen, I like the build so far. However, I am trying to get the minmaxed chestpiece like yours - it seems kind of tough. I have a Sadist Garb with fractured spell suppression, and I think I have to throw some dense fossils at it. The thing is, the evasion and ES numbers do not ever get that close (at least in the Craft of Exile emulator). Your armor has 2299 evasion and 501 ES. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It was a pretty smooth leveling experience and doing up to t8's. I have not started the move over to LL yet. Not many drops thus far...

How do you craft the other gear, besides the weapon?

Another trick that I use when I don't have brand recall (playing ruthless) is to cast 2 wintertide brand, wait 1.5sec then cast the 3rd one. This will make sure you keep wintertide's end on bosses without brand recall. The rotation is basically cast 2 brand, cast your other spells, cast 1brand, cast other spells, cast 2 brand and so on

What is the source of frenzy charges?

Excited to league start this, I see in your POB for league start you have a LL aura set-up but you're not using it in the clip you have of the watch stone boss fights, did it not work well?

2:50 So wintertide's end is copying only 1 brands damage as a debuff for a base duration of 1 second, and doing 500% more DoT DPS than that of 1 brand at max stages?

3.24 changes and what to potentially do: -No left click for molten shell - manually activate it, put it on secondary keybinds, or use automation support gem, will have to use an unset ring to fit all gems -ES mastery of Stun is based on 60% of energy shield => Adds 50% of energy shield to stun threshold - this is a buff -No hillock flask quality - 20% is fine to meet breakpoints -Ruby flask (Coruscating) change - 50% => 40% fire res is inconsequential, 20% less fire damage taken => +5% max fire res is the same effect for our build -No vorici for free white socket to swap out grace => zealotry or haste (depending on content) - use orb of blanching (expect this to be maybe expensive...) or harvest craft (also expensive lol) => No build inhibiting changes, good luck 😃

Any thoughts to the Necroplis Patch? Another question i have in the pob it shows 3.4mil dps do i miss some configuration or is that the result? I might start this next week, but im unsure about the dmg.

Actually looking for a non-painful way to level a trickster to transition into ephemeral edge splitting steel shenanigans once I have the divines. I just did a test run to A5 on WT brand and I believe this is it. The damage is surprisingly good even at level 12, and the playstyle is super comfy, much more so than the giga skill piano that we had on old cold DoT! Amazing guide, thank you!

I wonder about passive tree progression? Would you rush Runebinder or the MoM and EB combo?
