Hi! Thanks for reaching out. When scanning for channels on your TV, please check to make sure your TV was set to scan for "antenna" or "air" or something similar rather than "cable" or "satellite." That could be the reason your antenna registered zero channels. Also, it's recommend that you test the antenna in different locations and extend and adjust the dipoles to find the best reception for your location. Just be sure to run a channel scan each time you move the antenna. Depending on your location and any possible obstructions between you and the broadcast towers, you may need a stronger antenna or an amplified antenna. Visit antennaweb.org and type in your zip code to see the location of broadcast towers in your area as well as the available channels. While it can be reprogrammed to operate other TV brands, your best option would be to purchase a more general GE universal remote. All GE universal remotes can be programmed to operate Hisense TVs. Hi. Thanks for reaching out. There could be a few reasons why you're not getting channels, but hopefully these suggestions will help to resolve the issue you're experiencing. 1. Visit antennaweb.org and type in your zip code to see a list of channels in your area and the location of their broadcast towers. This will give you an idea of the channels you should be able to pick up, assuming they are within the mileage range of your antenna. 2. Make sure your antenna is connected to your TV and also plugged into a wall outlet. An amplified antenna requires a power source. 3. Scan for channels on your TV, making sure your TV is set to scan for over-the-air/antenna rather than cable or satellite. 4. Try moving the antenna to different locations and extending/adjusting the dipoles. Placing the antenna as high as possible or near a window can help. Each time you reposition the antenna, be sure to run a new channel scan on your TV. If you need further assistance, we would love the opportunity to troubleshoot the issue with you over the phone. The manual includes programming instructions as well as information about which buttons function as number buttons. All i had to do was put the batteries in and it worked. No programming needed. I have a Roku Onn Tv. Although i will say that there are no instructions. Just this qr code. It gives you a list of numbers but there are no number buttons on the remote. Im sure people are coming here fir fuether instructions, and this video isnt much help. Im grateful it worked right away or i would have been lost.

I have one of these antennas. GE 48283. Worked fine for months. I unplugged it, then plugged it back in. Now I'm not getting one channel, its the ABC channel in my area. I tried moving it around, playing with the rabbit ears, turning the tv sideways etc. Now what??

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. The remote's app button can only open the streaming app that your Roku TV designates as the primary streaming app. In the case of your Roku TV, it appears to be Netflix. Another brand of Roku TV might have Amazon Prime or another streaming service as its primary app. Since this is a universal remote for all Roku TVs, the app hotkey relies on the TV's built-in settings; therefore, the app hotkey cannot be changed. While it can be programmed to operate a Roku box (not streaming stick), it is not designed to operate both devices at the same time. If your setup includes a TV with a separate Roku box, your best option would be to get a traditional GE universal remote with an STR or STRM device button, which comes preprogrammed for Roku boxes (not streaming sticks). Hi! The auto code search method cycles through the codes built into the remote until it finds the best one for your device. Once the remote is programmed, if you'd like to identify which four-digit code it's using, you can follow the steps below: 1. Press and hold the SETUP button until remote's red light turns on. 2. Press and release the device button for the code you seek. 3. Press and release the ENTER button. 4. Press and release the "1" button and count how many times the red light blinks. That will be the first digit of the device's code. Repeat this step three more times using "2," then "3," and then "4" to retrieve the remaining second, third and fourth digits in the code. 5. Press and release the ENTER button to exit this mode. If the auto code search method is taking too long, as sometimes it can be a lengthy process, you may want to try programming your remote using the direct code entry method shown here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJCXqn6AoJqcaZI. At www.antennaweb.org, you can enter your zip code to see a list of channels you should receive within the antenna's mileage range. Additionally, if you've not already done so, scan for over-the-air channels on your TV, making sure your TV is set for air, antenna or something similar rather than cable. You can also test the antenna's reception in different locations, running a channel scan every time the antenna is moved. Best reception is usually found when placing the antenna as high as possible or near a window. For the single 120V load schematic, the source line runs from L1-NO1 when switched on. The line then goes through COM1 to your load. To complete the circuit, we have to bring the neutral of the load back to terminal N/L2 where the source neutral goes. While it can be programmed to operate a Roku box (not a Roku Streaming Stick, since sticks use radio frequency rather than an infrared signal), it will not operate a Roku TV and a Roku box at the same time. If your setup includes a TV with a separate Roku box, your best option would be to get a traditional GE universal remote, which come preprogrammed for Samsung TVs and Roku boxes (not streaming sticks). GE universal remotes work with all major brands, and the TV device button can easily be reprogrammed for another brand if you don't have a Samsung TV. This remote comes preprogrammed for use with Roku TVs, so no programming is required unless you have a Sharp or Insignia Roku TV since some of their models require programming as shown in the video. If you're experiencing issues with your remote and you do not have a Sharp or Insignia Roku TV, please try resetting your remote to factory settings using the following steps: 1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red light stays on. 2. Press the REWIND button four times. The red light will blink twice. Your remote should now be reset and ready to operate your Roku TV. Hi Lilian. Thanks for reaching out. If you've not already done so, try the following: 1. Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV or other device you're trying to operate. 2. Try replacing the the batteries with new ones, making sure their polarity matches what's noted inside the battery compartment. 3. If the remote is still not operating properly, try resetting it to factory settings and then programming it for your devices. To reset your remote to factory settings: 1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the remote's indicator light stays on, then release it. The indicator light will remain on. 2. Press and release the MUTE button. 3. Press and release 0 (zero). The indicator light will blink twice. The remote is now reset to factory settings.
