To be honest, I thought everything about CP 2816 now CPKC 2816 was all older footage. But after googling it, it turns out this was happening right now. Apparently this tour known as the Final Spike Tour was to I guess celebrate the merger between CP and KCS. Now together there CPKC. And this locomotive is gorgeous! So is the whistle! A pure Canadian built H1b Hudson named the Empress. Welcome back CP 2816 aka the Empress.

It did run at Opryland. I have pics of it there, she was at Opryland first, then Six Flags.

Here me out I live near this little engine and visit it constantly and the railway it use to run on the Oviedo & winter park railway disappeared when all the orange groves died and the railway ended this and 3 other boxcars are the only remaining parts of the railway so I don’t think it should be moved as it is a important part of my town’s culture and I gave it a name Nelson after the depo that keeps it in order and my fondness of this engine is too deep anyways if you want the history of the Oviedo & Winter garden railway I’m making a video about it in the near future I’ll keep y’all updated in the comments

I have my doubts that it ever will, It's been months, possibly over a year since it was mentioned by the railroad.

Impressive footage from 12 years ago of Tavares, Eustis & Gulf No. 2 in operation here before the Orange Blossom Cannonball Railroad had closed down by 2017. I hope No. 2 will find a new home to operate soon.

Nice video. One small thing though, 2816 is limited to 50 mph. She never was doing 65. I chased the exact same stretch.

Great selection. Of course, taste in whistles is a very personal thing. Whilst I would have ranked them in a different order, I think as a collection I agree with your choices!

Beautiful video of Six Flags over Georgia Railroad #49 “Texas” in operation here back in June 2002 back when it was powered with steam, before it was changed to be powered with diesel. To be honest I think this steam locomotive being powered with steam is much more better.
