I bought a stihl chainsaw from these people a little while ago, they insisted on assembling it for me as stihl want their dealers to pdi the machines before giving them to the buyers, so I paid for it, took it to the job, climber the tree and made a few cuts, then, the chan bar dropped off mid cut, they had forgotten to tighten the chan bar nuts ! Great pre delivery inspection guys ! Just great !

Hi Paul Sorry to hear that. There's not much that I can say to your message, but would only presume that tree surgeons always check there tools are in working order before climbing the tree. If there is any damage to the guide bar please come in to speak to one of the fully trained staff at Aps

Gaslite 5kg would be ideal on boats too but you don't find Flogas for sale in marinas or chandlery shops and sadly you can't purchase marine quality 27mm clip on regulators. Otherwise I would fit our 5kg Gaslite bottle which we use for camping to our boat. Why are you not interested in the marine boating market Flogas?

I have found two marinas that now stock Flogas so it looks as if Calor Gas monopoly on the marine market will soon come to an end. Calor Gas have exclusivity deals with many marinas excluding other brands and forcing their own Campingaz bottles on boat owners. @@ApsGardenMachinery

Good Morning the MS 211 doesn't have a primer hence you have a full choke and half choke as I explained in the video. Other brand chainsaw still have a primer which you will need not to over pump the primer otherwise it will flood the carburettor. I can only suggest to be patient. Other than that if your using old fuel that's more than a month old and your using the red two stroke oil it will be contaminated which will not be good for the engine.?? I hope that helps

If you will you need to have a monoxide detector than that's a peace of mind put at rest, though you are never needed to purchase one of all the years of selling these LPG cabinet heaters. As to regards to the cheapest it's certainly proven to be cost affective as you will heating one plus two rooms rather than the whole house. I hope that helps

Majority of Stihl Products are built for professional use and the HL 94 longreach hedgetrimmer is one of them. If you are going to use it for long length of time all I can recommend is to keep the blades lubricant and use the HP super engine oil as well as buy the E5 petrol from main stream petrol stations ie Bp, Esso and Shell

A heater package deal that includes the gas and bottle @ £199.00 to refill/exchange the bottle when empty works out to be £45.10. These bottles last approx, 100hrs on one burner 33 hours on all three burners. These heaters kick out 4.2kw of heat which can heat more than one room

Gas bottle prices vary across the UK approximately £45.00 - £55.00 depending if want to include the delivery service. Please note it may sound expensive but heating up one room or two works out to be less expensive than having to heat your whole house/flat just for one room over 100 hrs

Mobile bottled gas heaters are only dangerous if you misuse them or improperly use them. Here are some safety tips - a) Face the heater into the centre of the room, and ensure a one metre clear space around it, ensuring there is nothing in the way to catch fire i.e. curtains, drapes, soft furnishings, toys etc, b) Open an inside door to allow the combustion products of water vapour and carbon dioxide to circulate freely and disperse, such as a kitchen door or stair door, c) If you have children and pets present, use the Lifestyle heater guard (purchased separately) to provide additional safety and protection, d) In non-heating season, like summer, have your heater annually inspected and serviced by a LPG qualified Gas Safe engineer or Calor Gas dealer (some of the bigger Calor dealers can carry this out often for a reasonable price), e) Always stand to the side of a mobile radiant gas heater when igniting it, unless it's a living flame heater with an enclosed burner inside a glass fronted door i.e. Provence or Thurcroft or Manhattan, the reason for this is that on radiant gas heaters, the gas can sometimes flare out, and melt your trousers, especially if the ignition is tardy with a delayed ignition, f) Turn off the regulator before the heater control knob (if fitted) when you have finished using the heater or are going to bed for the evening, as this allows the gas to burn out (you'll hear a whoosh or an audible pop) then turn off the control knob if fitted, g) Never move the heater whilst alight, h) Always regularly check the heater's flame for appearance, a blue flame means all is well, a blue flame with a slight yellow tip on the pilot may mean dust or dirt is in the pilot air venturi, a completely yellow pilot flame will often produce soot on the ceramic plaques with a radiant heater, and on living flame heaters may produce tall yellow flames with soot. N.B. In the event of the two second or third above flame conditions, turn off and seek assistance from a Calor Gas dealer or LPG qualified Gas Safe technician, i) Never attempt to dry clothes in front of your heater or drape anything over it, j) Do not attempt to stand in front of the heater when it's lit to try and get warm, k) And finally, it's a good idea to check the gas tubing regularly for wear, and if cracked or chafed, replace it with new LPG hose - this is readily available from bottled gas dealers / caravanning dealers / camping shops / welding equipment suppliers / engineers merchants etc or it can be ordered online if you wish. A mobile bottled gas heater is only really unsafe if it is improperly used or misused.
