If you've ever seen Ferris Beuler’s Day Off, the dad is famous for playing the principal Mr Rooney; if you haven't, it's a funny one to react to, a very good classic. You saw Geena Davis in The Fly with Jeff Goldblum. Her husband in this movie is a darn near unrecognizable Alec Baldwin who you may know from being in the news more than acting these days or just as Hailey Beiber's uncle lol. He used to only be an actor back in the day though. This was another not really for kids, but for kids 80's movie that I'm glad to see ppl reacting to. It's so hard not to enjoy it. Thanks!

My favorite bit in the movie (aside from The Banana Boat Song scene): Adam: What are your qualifications? Beetlejuice: Ah. Well...I attended Juilliard. I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through The Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen The Exorcist about *167 times, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT!!!! NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT YOU'RE TALKING TO A DEAD GUY!!!!* Now what d'ya think? Ya think I'm qualified?"

YES I knew you'd have a good time with this one (and I'm with you, this one was better than the second)- I hope you keep watching them because the deaths keep getting crazier.

Loving the reactions definitely just got a new subscriber. If you haven’t seen these two movies yet you should definitely watch serial mom and death becomes her. I think you’d have fun reacting to those.

I LOVE the Howling! This was the horror movie that made me love horror movies (and werewolves!) I do love this way more than American Werewolf in London- but that one did get the most attention back in the day.

It depends on your taste. I love this movie it's one of the greatest werewolf films of all time. I'm not going to put down which one I like because that subject has beaten to death. Let's just agree that 1981 was an awesome year for Werewolf films.

I'm going to change my mind and say that The Howling and AWWIL transformation scene they are both equal. This one is a straight full body transformation. But I enjoy them both tremendously they don't do effects like this anymore.

Has anyone asked you if you thought this was a Xmas movie? There have been many arguments over the years. I do consider it a Xmas movie.
@Jhyad2 күн бұрын
No, I didn’t even know that was an argument when I recorded this. I think it is a Christmas movie. It’s obviously set around Christmas Day but even beyond that you got the main character realizing what’s really important to him and how much he values his family. That’s not the forefront of the movie as much as the action is, but it’s still there. So yea I’d say it qualifies as a Christmas movie. (Damn this was a lot of yapping, my bad.)

Liam Neeson: Schindler's List :) The 90s remake is surprisingly good for being, essentially, a TV movie. Jack Lemmon plays Juror 8 (the main guy), and he's an absolute legend. I highly suggest you watch Glengarry Glen Ross. Trust me. You're gonna love it.

I'm so pleased you chose to watch this classic! Yes. American Werewolf in London came out at the same time. Both were groundbreaking for the genre. I was 10 in 1981. Talked my way into the backseat for the double feature at the Drive In. I wasn't ready! Absolutely, terrifying! My eyes were buggin, half hiding, half watching during the ending which was extremely shocking back then. The 80's were the Golden Age of Horror. I really miss Drive-Ins!!😥 Always a double feature! The 1st film would start at dusk and we'd be home by 11. Dang,. The Howling got me all nostalgic! 😂

Let's not forget Wolfen to it was good year if you were a fan of Werewolves. You probably never going to get this again.
@duchesssussex7648Күн бұрын
@@BigMac7629 I don’t think you’ll be surprised when I tell you that Wolfen was the 2nd feature. 😂They did screenings right in the 80’s. I was going to mention it but I had written so much already. Shout out to the old time movie geeks who remember. The infrared POV of the wolves was badass. I chewed a straw into oblivion that night.
