Years ago, I worked for GO Transit, a commuter railway and bus service in Toronto. One afternoon, I was talking to a co-worker who was a ticket agent at Burlington Station. He was on the other side of the glass and he had the microphone and speaker in the window at full blast. I asked him how things were going. He said (again, full volume here), “The trains are all fucked up!” A passenger across the waiting room, wearing a suit, gave me a shocked look. I shrugged my shoulders and hollered over to him, “Well, it’s true!” The guy laughed.

Wonderful,,, The people, The landscapes, The history of the railway. I could see myself in a job like that with beautiful vistas to be experienced but I know this was filmed more than 10 years ago. Now if I could go back to Edwardian era maybe and work on the Scottish Railway I feel it would be brilliant.

Love that lady screaming at officials to get on the train then complaining about being packed in the train, peak Karen energy, then made a racist remark saying it reminds her of "Trains Abroad" and "In the poor countries" Get off your damn high horse, lady. I've been sardine canned on a train to Toronto once and I didn't have a problem with it, I knew it was going to a Blue Jays game, I knew what I was getting into, and I'd rather be packed into a train than be stuck in traffic on the Gardiner

Christ! I don't ever want to be in a carriage with a newborn whose mother didn't bother to feed or change it or wind it before getting on a train where other folk might not appreciate it. At least dreamfeed before you take a baby anywhere. Silence is golden after all.
