I can’t wait to finish renovations on my room I will buy a beginner plane and practice then slowly switch to these Birds I earn enough to buy one every month I have never flown a RC plane in my life this is something I really wanna get into and want to know more about

Holy shites!!! That was the fastest propeller change that I've ever seen!! I just bought two 4s 3200 spektrum batteries 4 my timber, was using 3s 2200. How much flight time do you get on that battery. And what size spinner did you get for that Apc prop? Great flying, by the way.

I do this all the time with my large scale edf jets. Tried it with my Cub crafters 1/4 scale carbon cub and now i have to fly one handed and whipe with my left hand. 😂

@@KB_RC there are tens of 6S SMC high voltage batteries with different capacity and different weights. they are all different. its just saying like i drive i v6 car but they are all different power output

I did not! I used the Timber X spinner. But I think I might’ve had to trim a bit.

Question from a complete RC novice : it sounds like you’re adjusting trim as you come in to land ( lots of beeps) , what are you trimming?

That would be the throttle percentage beep. Right at 25% throttle. The beeps is starting and stopping the battery timer

Youd get a bit more speed if you pull up the retracts? The newer versions now have a 600kv motor and a 50 amp esc so their a bit faster now and they also have working navigation lights and flaps

Everywhere I look, folks are having this problem with the Timber X. I've had to repair and reinforce mine several times. I really think the problem (in my case) is ME making hard landings. I have had very experienced pilots in my club who can grease the landings, but every one of them assured me this is a difficult plane to land. It's starting to diminish my confidence. Would others agree that it is difficult to land, and has anyone had a defining moment as far as making good landings?

Personally I think it was all me when it broke. I slam this thing to the ground like a bush plane should be but I still butter them when I want to. Super super easy plane to land. Just me throwing it around and making tight area landings and hitting the ground because I let the plane fall out of the sky just before landing haha.

Awesome. I don't think it is a stall, it is a torque reflex. I have the 90mm version and it flies great.

Re: needing 7 channels, can't you just power the receiver through the bind port? You can on all the Spektrum receivers I own.
