One of Mohammad Rafi’s uptempo rockers … Brilliant. My all time favourite male singer and Shammi one of the funniest actors of yesteryear. Thanks for this selection … wish you’d both got up danced🕺🕺😊.

We request Jimmy to just type in Shammi Kapoor songs in KZbin bar and see and feel for yourself who is the real deal....I think for us Shammi sir is way ahead of all ....way ahead of Elvis....way ahead of Michael with all due respect to these greats.....and way ahead of anyone in Bollywood or Hollywood in terms of musical and dancing grace and talent. Of course he was a gem of a man too. At least I have never found or seen any male artist performing musicals with grace better than Shammi sir.....God bless his soul 🙏

I have never imagined any foreigner would ever give any reaction on evergreen songs especially 60s ones..As they are always handpicking those which has around 500M views or juss really trendy.. Let's start watching their reaction on something different from what most of the reaction channel does ig.. If u want to give more reaction on evergreen songs.. Songs before 80s are actually great with old vibes and a lot of diverse arts..And especially black & white songs are more great than these but they are more longer than these themselves!

There is no one ever like Shammi Kapoor either in Indian film industry or in Hollywood. He is far far more than Elvis Presley in terms of the treasure of work he left . You guys must explore his best work. This song is not his best work. You must react on "deewana hua badal sawan ki ghata chhayi"...." " Isharo isharo me dil lene waale" " O haseena zulfo waali jaane jaha" and " dilruba Dil pe tu ye sitam kiye jaaye". There has never been a graceful dancer than him . Try his better work ..... Hope you will react to the mentioned songs. Thanks and Regards

My father was a big fan of Shammi Kapoor and as a 20 year old, he had managed to see the audio recording of this song in the sound studio. His memory is of seeing multiple rehearsals with Rafi Sahaab practicing the variations with the orchestra and Shammi Kapoor sitting in the Recording room and nothing what moves he could do to match the vocal emotions. During the takes, Rafi is moving his voice and his head to suit the tempo and the mood and Shammi Kapoor is on his feet doing the moves.... I'll always be envious he saw that before his eyes.

Rafi is called the greatest male singer, also because of his versatility, singing songs of all varieties with undeniable perfection! The famous & most successful from The Kapoor clan are as follows. Prithviraj Kapoor with 3 sons: Raj & Shammi & Shashi. Raj Kapoor with 3 sons: Randhir & Rishi & Rajiv. Randhir with 2 daughters (only): Karishma & Kareena. Rishi with 1 son: Ranbir. However, there are many others (sons and daughters) who either were unsuccessful in films or they never chose films as their career.

It is movie culture only. I am quite sure this is not representative of the culture of the 60s in any class or any part of India. Yeah, they might had parties where there would have been similar dancing, etc. in some anglophile, upper-class parties.

Finally saw the movie this weekend after all the hype. All this guy had to do was not fall asleep on the bus. Then he would still have his grandma's money. He wouldn't have to work and could focus on studying. Then he would be able to understand the difference between terrorism and tourism, and not be a complete idiot. I'm in the minority, I don't understand the point of this movie. It's a student studying for an exam. He's doing the basic requirement for what he wants. I rather have a movie that focuses on the system that normalized cheating and created a so-called difficult exam that leads to some of the most corrupt police officers. Which is the story that happened after he becomes an honest cop, but the movie ends by then 🤦♂️

Experimental if from the Point of view of Music Composing. Till then, Indian Music was never experiencing this kinda heavy drum and very different sound engineering. Moreover, the song was set on Folk background but the Archestra was set on western.
