I wouldn't call that the poor man MP5. I have the HK . Few months later my friend got what you got when the price went from over $1800 down to the $1100. I was impressed. I know the PTR is s good one to. But they do feel kind of less than when compared to the SP5. Not that MKE though. If I ever get a second one, probably won't since my collection is really good but really small, I'll go with the MKE. Dude MKE even throws in that flash hider that is admittedly not really necessary but since I have the Surefire forend and don't want to throw carbon deposits all over the part where the light comes out or muzze blast at the bulb assembly. I have the newest LED version but that can't be good for for it. I had fo buy one for $130 that B&T makes that isnt slotted on the bottom. Then I had to remove metal from the latch for that part to do its job becaue my light was keeping me from putting the handgaurd pin in. I know I would have had the same problem with the MKE. But at the price it wouldn't have irritated me as much. We even threw my binary trigger and safety harbor brace in the MKE with zero issues. The HK has the F model upgrades. All that does is allow non stop +p 9mm ammo firing. I filled up 9 mags with that stuff on top of function testing. I'm not going to be shooting a whole lot of that stuff. So for me and just about anyone else it's not really a necessary feature. You know what happens when you shoot a bunch of +p out of a MKE? You have to keep an eye out for excessive wear on a few parts that are pretty cheap and easy to change out yourself. I love my HK. I won't sell it and it's not a sore subject. But that AP5 priced the way they are now is a smoking deal. Which we do kind of have HK to thank for forcing Century to price it like they made it so to speak.

U can hunt big game with most shotguns, get a 12G with a 28”+ barrell and do everything with it little big for home defense but you can hunt all game with it and clay shoot/ birds

I've owned a Sx2, Sx4, used a buddy's Sx3 a good bit as well, had a benelli SBE2, hated it, had 1970 A5 light, Japan A5 magnum 12, the new A5, maxus 2, shot a original maxus a fair bit, shot a benelli M2 of my buddy's a lot, Remington 1100's, 2 3/4 and 3" models from 26" barrels to 32", 1187's, I've shot and owned a lot of shotguns new and old, it's hard to beat a old or new A5 for me, not as big of a fan of the 1100 but there great guns just the same, to me in my mind those are the 2 best meat guns ever made, almost everybody owns at least one of those 2 guns if not both, the new A5 is amazing, the Maxus 2 is pretty sweet as well, my A5 is a 3 1/2" chamber, my Maxus 2 is the hunter model so only up to 3" but think about it... the 2 most iconic shotguns to date the Remington 1100 and the browning A5 most were 2 3/4" only but a lot were 3" magnums as well, nobody needed a 3 1/2" in those days they killed everything from quail to deer and everything in between with a 2 3/4" or 3" shell, I only got my A5 in 3 1/2 in case when I went to buy waterfowl ammo if we had another ammo "shortage" again and all I could find is 3 1/2" I could still use it, 3" is fine it's not gonna beat you up to bad and does all you need, if you wanna shoot 3 1/2" go for it, there fun to shoot at times lol but I really don't think there needed as much as people think, or well I should say use to think, but a better shot type and I really don't see a need for them, I get if that's all you've got hey I get it use whatcha got I ain't gonna knock that at all, but if possible try a better shot type and watch them fall

I carry full size guns. The truth is I shoot them better and I have more confidence and rounds with them. The thing is in a sense there as easy to carry you just have to know your body and have the right holster and do some actual research and training. Also what no one talks about is dressing around the gun. But most people don’t want to do that or think they can. You can. Jeff cooper has said “Guns are supposed to be comforting not comfortable” which I agree with to a point, but nowadays you can have both just do some digging and work at it.
