I practiced Karate since I was a kid, I think i was like 4 years old, and I managed to arrive to black belt but a year ago I decided to stop, I now understand the mistake I made and I'm reviewing some things that I don't really remember to get back at practicing it, and your videos are being very helpful. Thank you so much, Oss Sensei

Nice! In traditional Okinawan karate many of these blocks are actually part of grappling techniques. OSU

Very simple technique , it has some very basic values , but you will never see a guy use these techniques in a real fight . The form is comes across as powerful blocks +punches but u less you must be relaxed +flow smothley. When the body is stressed it runs out of energy quickly .

Fairly good basic tutorial! In my opinion, the kata should fallow the kihon a bit more closely. Especially at the end two moves, those to should mimic the same right and left side. Very nice basic tutorial of the kata. I know, “Sensei you put yourself out there on KZbin and let everyone criticize you. I will put all the katas, Competition variations, Bunka (unpacking)/Oyo application of all Shotoka Kata soon. The End of this kata has something different that is often lost. The bottom hand should have a pronounced backward to forward movement, which is different from our regular Shuto.

Nope, good effort, but need a looooot of practice still……. check Ohta Sensei, Osaka Sensei, Ochi Sensei, Naka Sensei, Shina Sensai etc…… then you’ll learn, timing, speed, technique etc
