Hey! Could someone tell me how to adjust the action in this guitar. I find the strings too separated from the fretboard for my taste
@SeanBennettGuitar23 күн бұрын
Check that the neck is relatively straight first to ensure it’s not a truss rod adjustment that’s needed. Then take a hex key and turn the two hex key inserts on each saddle to lower the strings closer to the fretboard. If the saddles get too low there will be fretbuzz, so try to find a happy medium.

The MT15 is on my wish list in late 2024 because after 2 years of playing nothing but plugins, I miss the immediacy & over-all feel of playing a real amp. The lead channel gets pretty close to the heavy rhythm tone I hear in my head & the clean channel sounds amazing as well. I’ll still use plugins, but probably not as much thanks to having a load box/IR loader. I’m also definitely investing in a JHS AT + to give me more Marshall style tones when I want them thanks to your video on it. Cheers! 🍻

Depends really. If you really like the amp, then I'd say get the Suhr Reactive Load IR. I'm not the biggest fan of the Dream '65 and would still prefer to play a real tube amp.

Amp snobbery! Oh my😮.I run my stomp in 4cm through the fx loop it sounds great for lead guitar but you do need to have the right overdrives/boost, to get you there. I'm running into a Two notes Captor-x attenuator and stereo cab sims out to FOH makes this set up a powerhouse of tone!

Comes with a set of allen keys in a plastic sleeve. One of them is to tighten the tremolo bar to the bridge.

its not stainless steel frets right? how was it holding up until now? do they have like a sandpaper feel or sound when youre bending the strings? and do they have string marks already? thanks man! I have watched all your videos regarding this guitar and planning to buy one or the mv-6
@SeanBennettGuitarАй бұрын
I don't think they're stainless steel as I can't find the information online what the frets are made of; however, the frets feel completely fine to me and are comfortable. There's no issues with the feel or sound when bending strings - in fact, bending strings is a breeze and I love how flat the neck feels. Frets aren't wearing any faster than on my other guitars. I have a review coming up soon of the MV-6 and it sadly turned out to be a completely disappointing guitar. The Schecter Nick Johnston is much better. Thanks for watching my videos!

If you were just in the process of discovering Bruce (The Boss) Springsteen a year ago when you made this reaction video, I hope you've had a chance to enter the biggest rabbit hole in the whole of rock music, which is Bruces incredible songbook, spanning 50 years and hundreds, yes HUNDREDS of magical and iconic songs, covering a number of different genre's. There's a very good reason people refer to Bruce as 'The Boss' and hopefully you've discovered that for yourself by now. Cheers Sean! 🙋♂

I find it has sufficient low end through a 412. Man i think for live use, i want to use an amp every time. I'm not against modelers, i just don't think they have it yet. It amazes me the amount of young players that have been playing for years and never played through a tube amp. I'll never forget my first tube amp experience. It was through my JVM. It was a religious experience

I’ve bought and sold the Morning Glory 3-4 times now and every time I regret it, and end up just buying one again, and recently have again, for the last time I hope lol! It’s just that good, and really useful. It’s even one of Josh Scott’s ‘only choose 3 pedals for the rest of your life’ choices, and he has hundreds of pedals to choose from, so that tells you right there. They are a great pedal.

The JHS MG has also been great for filling in the mids on mid lacking amps for me - making it much easier to hear myself live. I also love the subtle compression it adds on an otherwise spiky clean sound.

I’ve had it for about a month. The basic clean sound is great. Reverb is good but a little too bright. The tremolo sounds awesome… but … I HATE that the controls are hidden. They should be on the pedal like a real Fender amp. As a result I don’t use the tremolo. Instead I have a dedicated tremolo pedal. I wish the two switches were BOTH for presets. I’m constantly fiddling and losing my base tone.
@FakeGlasses3 ай бұрын
Use the app, you can make it so each switch is a different tone.

I really wanted to love it. It has too much flappy low and Bass I could not dial out. I couldn’t hear it out of the guitar speaker standing in front of the amp, but I could hear it coming out of the PA and in my iem’s. Back to the store it goes. I tried using EQ after the fact, And I also use 2 Amps, one is miked up, the other uses a cab simulator. If it had a bass knob on it, I probably would’ve kept it. EQ after the fact with the PA affected my overall tone too much, and I’m not interested in running an EQ pedal along with it just to get what I needed. Maybe I’ll try the angry Charlie.
@SeanBennettGuitar4 ай бұрын
I know what you mean. For me it’s a lead pedal only, and that’s it. Anytime I try to do rhythm on the AT+, it’s too muddy. But then again I bought it for a lead tone only, so it doesn’t bother me too much. I’d rather have a pedal that’s great for one thing, than average at everything 😊 for me rhythm is from the amp, lead is from the AT+
