I absolutely also pray and let things go as I say even out loud sometimes “God I’m going to leave this up to you, whatever you want for me or need me to see or know I trust that you will make it so”… I honestly don’t know if anyone is listening except my subconscious. But that doesn’t mean it’s pointless because I believe we cannot prove or disprove the existence of a God, I’m an agnostic, BUT I have faith. Faith doesn’t require proof, it’s a choice to believe in the greater good. And I have had been shown time and time again almost immediate responses when I pray. When I ask for signs or enlightenment about a problem or confusion or am drowning in emotions, for relief… and somehow some way it always comes. This is why I have faith.

how do we deal fatigue with fogginess
@Arlene_witha_y
@Arlene_witha_y 18 күн бұрын
I’m still figuring that out. I don’t have panic attacks anymore but i think I do have chronic fatigue from a sort of cptsd from my experiences. I still deal with both. I try to exercise at least a little everyday or 3 times a week. I combine walking briskly for 30 mins or an hour one day and do some light weights another day. I try to consume healthy stuff, I’m not perfect but I try. I try to stay hydrated and get to bed at a reasonable hour. Life can be so stressful and we are so complex there isn’t always one solution to a problem it’s a combination of different efforts.

Hello! I would like to express my immense gratitude for these wonderful scenes. I live on the opposite side of the planet, and I watched your video story from beginning to end without interruption. The imagery is so rich in colors, and I was completely immersed in the atmosphere of your journey. It was incredibly interesting. This is the first video I stumbled upon on KZbin today by chance, and now I have a dream to visit this amazing place! Thank you again.

Yes I’m just waiting for my youngest to go off to college to be able to leave and move around doing travel work for a while. I want to see more of the country. Miami has become like a boring small town to me where everything and everyone is the same. Not interested in this shallow city life! I want more nature and quiet away from people!

Hi I sub’d. Hope it’s ok. I think the most annoying thing us loners dislike are uninvited knocks on our doors, and questions about ourselves. I have a dream once my nest is empty (single dad of 4 since April 2014)…to go to some desert and sit on top of a big hill and do nothing for 30 days…oh what a dream. No responsibilities for 30 days straight.

I'm hearing alot of truth to this. At about the 20 minute mark, you discuss what men don't have to pay for and what women do have to pay for. Some men do need to purchase tools, welders, trailers, suits, ties, shoes, all the accessories for these things. Those things are not cheap, I guess it's all perspective. I wonder if all people consider paying for a date romantic?
@Arlene_witha_y
@Arlene_witha_y Ай бұрын
Single women also need tools and things to maintain their house. A suit and tie isn’t different from a dress, heels and a purse. And it is gentlemanly for a man to pay. At least for early stages of romantic courtship. Once together I wouldn’t mind treating my man to a nice meal from time to time. With that said “all people” are very different. Some women get offended if men open the door for them.

Hi Arlene, I really enjoy this style of video - long vlogs with stream of consciousness. We need more authentic vloggers like you! Definitely makes me feel less alone. And I enjoy seeing a slice of life that is different from my own, I’m single/never married/no kids (age 36). I live in Wisconsin. I did recently get a cat who needs a lot of attention so I can relate to that, lol.

Oh my God it's honestly SCARY how identical your thoughts and experiences in Miami are to mine literally word for work verbatim. I'm from NJ right across from NYC and not even I could make it in Miami I left after only 2 years. Every job I've worked at there was always severely understaffed to the point where I was often left alone as the only person in the store/office. I made LESS money working IT in Miami than I did working crappy retail/warehousing up here. So much for "no income tax" right? My rent for a studio went from $1100 to $1750 in just a year and the apartment building started to fall apart right after. 5:03 "NIÑA NIÑA" in my case niño THAT'S SO ACCURATE!!! The traffic there is actually worse than it is to go to and from NJ and NYC it would take me over and hour to drive to and from work 5 miles in a straight line on Biscayne. I actually HAD an accident because someone making a turn from the left lane decided to skip the lane and turn all the way to the right where I was going straight and even though I knew exactly what was about to happen I came to a full stop and the back of his car swiped the front of mine and the cop said it was my fault??? Never had to swerve out of the way to avoid getting hit so much in my life and it literally takes 2 seconds to let someone turn onto the lane they need to get to but the BEST part is when they speed up and the way the streets there are set up makes it so theres no option BUT to make a U turn in the middle of the street. Don't even get me STARTED on those out of sync traffic lights that take FOREVER!!! My mail used to get lost all the time too. One problem I never see people talk about is how EVERYTHING at EVERY STORE is ALWAYS out of stock!!! Like bro they don't got NOTHING there ANYWHERE even the store I worked at. Publix is OVERRATED the sandwhiches are mid ShopRite is WAYYY cheaper and the buffet food is so much better. Crime there is absolutely out of control I've noticed once you leave SoBe Brickell Wynwood and Kendall it turns into Iraq real quick crime scene tape bullet holes and drive bys everywhere. 1 of my former coworkers moved to Virginia another NC another to NY and another overseas entirely. Sorry for the long comment but I'm just glad to see that I wasn't alone in this experience

Thank you! You just validated my viewpoint. I know fellow miamians who say I’m just negative that they like it here. Well good for them. I don’t! I unfortunately was hit with the lottery of being born here and not to a wealthy family. I’ve had to bust my butt just to make ends meet and I’m sick of it! I have to stay at least until my youngest graduates high school then she’ll likely go to college but they won’t be small children anymore. They can study and have jobs and i can do my traveling work assignments and at least spend 6 or 9 months out of the year out of this hell hole! Maybe they can come with me during the summer months! But I’m so desperate to leave I feel like 5-6 years is an eternity. My best advice is, don’t marry the wrong person. You’ll be stuck on your own surviving and having to coparent and if you leave you can’t take the kids and if you want to but don’t then you’re abandoning the kids. A couple needs to be really really really strong and put eachother first before having kids. Because those kids will end up being your anchor! So decide where you want to drop it and with who before you do.
