I forgot about my plant i planted it with soil from my yard in a small pot and I took it out after a couple months but it never grew bigger but it has an impressive root system and I transferred it to a 16 inch pot now with good soil. It has been almost a week and a half. It has some new root growth and it is finally growing it leaves outwards. It had also grown little spikes on the leaves. Will my plant be stunted from being in a small pot for so long and not taken care of?

How many times do you water the seedlings before transplanting and at what time intervals do u water
@TonysExploration11 сағат бұрын
I never give any instructions on watering all my videos , simply because this watering is very much dependent on the weather and where you stay. The golden rule is always the same , keep the medium moist. The amount and interval is based on your judgement.

@TonysExplorationКүн бұрын
Nowadays , more and more persimmons are parthenocarpy variety, just like grapes and bananas. You need to source around different supplier or different variety

@impulsefg2 күн бұрын
@@TonysExploration does doing two per plant make flavor worse? Does two per plant increase grow time? What are the down sides?
@TonysExploration2 күн бұрын
@@impulsefg flavor wise I would said the same. Yes two or more increase the grow time and harvest time. If you on gardening scale, it doesn't matter, but on farm scale, is best to kept to one. You need to calculate the timing of harvest in one go, so two or more just drag the time longer and even cost the next season to get delay.

@@TonysExploration Thanks for the info. I’m in Colorado and have about 120 days from today until first frost. Those last few weeks probably aren’t the best for growing melons either. I’m trying to decide if I should do one or 2 per plant. I’m a back yard gardener. Do you have any suggestion? I have melons, sugar cube , cantaloupe, honey dew, ambrosia and water melons, crimson sweet and sugar baby. I put seedlings with 2 adult leaves in the ground last week.

Mine are 7 weeks old and they’re growing ever sooo slowly nothing at all like the rate as yours are and they’re growing outside. Why? 😫 Also I have heard you should not trim the leaves as it is what gives the watermelon it’s sugary taste if that’s true.

What a great demo! The method is quite similar to propagating lavender. It made me smile to watch this this whole video. I have six pack trays that I can use. I am not sure when it would be safe to plant them in the great outdoors...I am assuming it is after they are well rooted and have had enough exposure to the sun. It would be nice to keep one indoors too for our kitchen during the winter! (We have snowy winters where I live!) Thank you for sharing!

How do you get the grape 🍇 vine branch to grow roots if it doesn’t have enough it looks dead and the roots are dark brown
@GainingDespair4 күн бұрын
It's BS grapes actually grow on last years growth, without a previous years worth of vines they will not fruit. They produce spurs when in dormancy over winter, these spurs produce the fruit the next year. Also grape vines rarely fruit the first 2-3 years when planted, they might try to produce but the plants root system isn't generally large enough to support the fruit so they mostly fall off.
