I liked the video honestly, but I would actually like to see a few games afterwards to showcase some of those points you make. Or maybe the explanation is Part 1 and then a secondary video of games being Part 2?

@goonsquadtcg28 күн бұрын
I'm trying it. There was a Feraligatr Palkia list that did well in LA. I think you could morph the deck to become a Palkia/Greninja
@apertureb2247Ай бұрын
I like the grass ogrepon variant better. With grass ogrepon and 1 copy of mew ex you cover all fighting weaknesses and you still have room for dark energies and monkies. Plus you can whiff energy turn 1 and still get a triple attach and switch.
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын
Grass blissey does sound good. I wonder if they just opt to go around your blissey and Chase the 210 HP Ogrepons. Mew is also a really good include. Big fan of copying attacks and hitting decks hard. There's also a fire build I'm experimenting with. The deck is just running with potential. Answering the fighting weakness is definitely an area I need to prioritize
@apertureb2247Ай бұрын
@goonsquadtcg The ogrepon is almost exclusively in case you miss energy turn 1, not a main focus like a 2 of in the deck. Plus it turns cheren into a draw 1/2 as well as heal. Can always scoop up/collapsed it too
@GoOKuSj33Ай бұрын
I really don't understand the Rotom V, what if you don't draw the collapsed stadium or you opponent has boss? If I built this deck, I'd run only the Greninja and Froslass lines, and 2 cleffas, nothing else.
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын
So, we're playing Rotom as an early push. If we can't remove it and they KO it, we have to live with it. If we actually get into the game, then it was worthwhile. Charizard decks were playing two copies at one point because the draw three is huge
@Thishandleisnt_availableАй бұрын
I wouldn’t run clefas this format. You’re giving free prizes to dragapult

Great vid. Definitely a deck I'm excited to play. Neo upper doesn't seem to do a ton for this deck and didn't hear you say why it's important. Unfair stamp or prime catcher seem like much better options. Also Glalie seems like a nice addition to take big one hit KOs instead of the other Greninja ex.....just some thoughts.
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын
It's mostly here to let you attack with the water ninja in a pinch. If you opt to cut it and go full fighting, please put in Cyclone or Stamp. Glalie would be the include if I cut the water ex
@miguerugaming2782Ай бұрын
Thx you for the deck list i like to play double energy for greninja ex but is a nice list :)
@GenoWhirl24Ай бұрын
Thanks for the list! I don't really agree with the lack of DTE and running neo upper, but only testing will tell what ace spec / energy ratios will be best.
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын
Of course. I can respect that. Neo is just to let us attack in a pinch with the water ex. If it's not pulling weight, the unfair Stamp is definitely a worthy include

Love the deck, let us know how it goes! I run cherens care with wigglytuff ex and it comes in clutch! It can be a little slow setting up the next jiggly with 3 energies to keep swinging for damage every turn but the munkidori might give you enough time to set up!
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын
I will definitely give an update. I think Blissey is being slept on. I loved Wigglytuff when it dropped, but it was so slow. This might be what we need for that type of archetype
@RandomSwitchGamerАй бұрын
Have you thought about playing Radiant Alakazam? with Munkidori and Radiant Alakazam you're able to move up to 110 damage around but also, with Zam, provide a damage pivot-er against freshly played core mons or set up mons And if you're looking for other free retreat mons to sub Morpeko, you could try Mew ex as it helps draw AND you could move energy to it and it could potentially do things like 1 shot Charizard (under the right circumstances) or you could use Drag's attack to spread more damage counters to their bench...if you don't want that 'cause its another double prizer, you could try Grasping Draw Cleffa as well, just for more set up...or something funny but definitely not the right card (I saw when looking through a list of free retreaters) is Magby "Free Attack - Scorching Heater: During your opponent’s next turn, if this Pokémon is damaged by an attack (even if it is Knocked Out), put 6 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon." which could also be a funny way to start applying damage to an opponent, but also if they brick hands, it'll prevent their 60HP basics from attacking 🤣 and on the level of babies and in themed with Mew ex there is also Mime Jr. which again, very funny
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын

As someone who has tested raging bolt ex extensively online in limitless tournaments, I gotta say the giratina matchup is horrible. They just ping you with sableye and never let you get sandy shocks online, leading to a 6 prize turn for the tina player.
@Quest7899Ай бұрын
also sandy shocks being weak to grass means iron leaves takes an easy ko
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын
In that match up, I use the Great Tusk more often and start burning their resources. It's how I fix the LZ box one too. You can't out punch them, so you're looking to Mill. They HAVE to put cards into the Lost Zone with Colress and Flower selecting. The booster capsule also makes you a 2HKO. I've won a fair share vs them before pressing record. The match can be iffy as they can just stockpile resources and Rods. Tina can also just brick which is why I listed it where it was
@goonsquadtcgАй бұрын
Raging Bolt and Sandy Shocks become spectators or I put early pressure with them to advance their LZ count to deal with them. When the deck is thin, I switch back in the Tusk and close out (comparably to how I did vs the Ancient box or Dialga games)
@Quest7899Ай бұрын
@@goonsquadtcg yea thats a fair argument. I do agree that great tusk adds a whole new layer of complexity to this deck and might just be what it needs to see more play. The deck was severely lacking another option to win games, and tusk checks a lot of boxes.
