Great presentation and awesome science done by Elgin lab. I'm sure we will get to know more about the origins of 4th chromosome's peculiar chromatin state soon

A lucid, tidy lesson on an intricate subject. I searched a fair amount; this is the best explanation of phase I've seen. Thank you!

Could you please let me know the name of the previous video that showed how to fill out the annotation report?
@GenomicsEducationPartnership2 жыл бұрын
The video covering how to complete to annotation form isn't necessary for the current version of the form. However, some instructors are using the prior version which is explained in kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4eTp6igdqeml6c

Thank you so much for the guidance. I was close to having a mental breakdown as there were over 20 pages of instructions for this particular lab. You saved me an entire day of panic and shrunk it to 1 hour of productive work. God bless you sir!

At the end of this video it says the next video (video 2) will go into detail about how to fill out "Part A. Gene Report Form", but then in next video (video 3) it already has that part filled out and skips too "Part B. CDS Report Form". So I was wondering if there is a video for how to fill out Part A? Seems like there was supposed to be one based on what is said in the videos. Thanks so much!

Apologies for the confusion! The video had to be taken down due to an error. You can use the documentation in the Pathways Project: Annotation Walkthrough (thegep.org/lessons/ksandlin-walkthrough-drosophila_pathways/) as as proxy.

Apologies for the belated reply! For anyone else that may have this same question: see page 11 of the "Small Exons Finder User Guide" (community.gep.wustl.edu/repository/documentations/Small_Exons_Finder_User_Guide.pdf) for more details.
