This game is way too underrated. Ive been playing on switch since full release but I bought early access on steam deck a while ago. Its come a looong way and the full 1.0 release is AMAZING. Its a mix of terraria and SDV and gives me the same obsessed feeling that DQ Builders 2 did. I knew youd love this game! 🩵

So glad ya found a game to get ya playing again. We have TO MUCH choices nowadays and its affecting us mentally. I have had "gamer block" for a long time , it really sucks. I have fallen back to playing older more simple games from the DS , psp ,and Vita ara . I really miss the last generation and Switch does have quite a few oldies like Rune Factory 3 and 4. Theres also a YS Oath in Felghana remake HD version coming on 1/7/25. I can not wait !

This reminds me a little bit of Crashlands, but with more confusion at the beginning. Honestly, that confusion is the biggest thing keeping me from buying it. I absolutely adore Crashlands (I've played it multiple times) and have yet to find anything else even remotely close. I love the lack of time pressure and being able to just explore, gather materials, craft bigger and better bases/equipment/etc, and take on tougher enemies. But I don't like feeling lost or confused. I like games where I can figure out pretty quickly what my next several objectives are, and I'm not sure this will do that (at least not at the start, which may lead to me quitting before figuring things out). Sooo I'm on the fence. Regardless, I appreciate your video on the game and am glad you've found a new addiction. I'll do some more research, and who knows? Maybe I'll become a Core Keeper fan, too.

FF7Rebirth is the game that I felt burnout in, which is surprising because of how much anticipation I had for it. I loved OG FF7 when I was younger, and I loved Remake. I actually got to 110 hours on Rebirth and just had to stop. I definitely blame Chadley, but Stellar Blade was what I needed. I beat Stellar blade a few times, then went through the trails in the sky trilogy and still have no desire to go back to FF7Rebirth.

Great video! I played the demo for this back when it was in beta on Steam and I felt like it had all the best stuff of Stardew Valley and Terraria. It's awesome to see how much it delivered on things. Deff wanna check this out!

You got me into this series, and I started with Ryza, they’ve become something of comfort games to play in between breaks of massive triple A game titles and they always give me a cozy and relaxed vibe /stress relievers. Thanks for that. Need to play some of the older ones now

I had my radar on Corekeeper’s release on Switch, but I’m not keen on playing games with a dark environment (as most souls-like games are). I have a second thought after seeing your video. I’m sold.

"Just 600 Megabytes" - oof, I feel old. I remember when storage was measured in bytes - just bytes. 100 punch cards was a maximum of 800 bytes (though you rarely reached that. Maybe you'd get *way* up to 80 kilobytes later when the home computer became a thing on single-sided, Single-Density 8" diskettes. Woo-Hoo! Those were the days.

Ive been looking for a game that draws you in like Animal Crossing did, I haven't lost myself in a game in years. Miss that feeling.

Oh yeah. This game was fantastic. Disclosure, I have the PC version, and my PC is ... pretty good. I'm here to find out how well it runs on a system that I haven't touched for many years because I got frustrated with the Switch's performance.

Core keeper is great! And i love the hidden cross-over bosses it has. Got it about a month ago as soon as it came out on switch

Really good game. Loved the music and the vibe. My friend and I got through pretty much everything on hard mode as well. The bosses were really fun as well, except for the water titan boss. Those tornados...
