I pretty much am in lock step with you on this Direct. Luigi and Mario was so good it should have been the Directs finally instead of the opening. I too feel they are squeezing the last bit of content out of the switch life cycle. Many great points. Great edit as usual. So funny to hear youre obsessed with dragon quest builders 2 again. I just wishlisted it because of your videos. I'm not the biggest jrpg fan but I like what you said about it being like a sandbox game but with a story because I too get overwhelmed in games like Minecraft and don't know what to so. Like I enjoy building. But I need a little direction. Anyways I agree that Mario and Luigi is my most anticipated title. I hope it maintains the difficulty I originally associated with the series. The Mario RPG remake felt just a tad too easy. In general I know mario rpg games aren't supposed to be difficult but I just want the game to be a little longer and a little more challenging than mario rpg.

I'm kinda happy that we're getting some remasters, remakes and even compilations for games that I wanted to try but never got the chance cause by that time I heard or wanted to give it a chance it costs too much. But I do understand it can be tiring for some. I'm looking forward for the Dragon Quest I-III HD2D Remakes. Hoping that we get IV--VI to Switch eventually, same with the other DQ mainline titles.

Yeah Im totally interested in the dragon quest games. They look awesome. I've been playing through a game called legend of nayuta. It's a great little platform rpg. Highly recommend it.

I wanted a good Zelda based game for a while, but tbh I don't like the way this one looks. And I actually checked out of the whole franchise part way through Twilight Princess. Curious about the Mario and Luigi RPG though. I like the original SMRPG but not all the experimental ones that came after.

The previous game to use this art style was Link Awakening remake. One of the rare Zelda game to not feature Princess Zelda in any way shape or form. And this new game is the oposite. It feature Princess Zelda as the main character.

I definitely wanted a fresh new Zelda game with the Links Awakening engine, but I'm not convinced about playing as Zelda and using magic either. Seems like a beginners type of game. Get on sale, borrow, or probably skip kinda game for me. If DQ III doesnt have performance issues on Switch it's the must one for me.

I want the Next New Nintendo Switch 2 more powerful that can play TRIPLE A title games like SpiderMan & Miles Morales, Resident Evil 7 and 8 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth with clear graphics not blurry when they port it and Palying Zelda BOTW and TOTK in 4k

I have concerns about the new Zelda as well. It almost looks like an asset flip of the LA remake, and I really did NOT like the LA remake despite LA being my favorite 2D Zelda. I thought the art style betrayed the story and setting. Now they're using it again, and the game looks soulless to me. I also predict that it will be very easy. If it is, I hope it has some extra/optional challenging content. We'll see though.

Ircha Gaming, tbh, I don't think I could do another farming/simulation game as I've pretty much exhausted out my playthrough with Animal Crossing New Horizons of the 4,395+ hours I sunk into it, including the dlc! But I may consider buying the new Zelda EOW as well as Cat Quest 3 August 8th!

That is NOT the same map as Link's Awakening at all... it is using the map from A Link to the Past though as a template and it will also have alterations and new additions to it as well...

Yeah I think Nintendo shows a fear about how the playstyle should be handled as a female protagonist. It’s misguided in my opinion. They find themselves in this message that a girl on the box will some how change the audience, which is odd for our times. We want something new in any new Zelda game but “alternative” almost always means lesser, or too easy.

they dont really show pokemon in the nintendo directs anymore, they usually wait for the pokemon presents which im not to sure its sometime around august or september, i personally think legends z-a will be the last pokemon on switch and if the pokemon company are still in their ways of a new generation every 3 years then at the end of next year we should be getting gen 10, but thats just me the next nintendo should also be out by the end of next year, pokemon launch title? idk lol

Actually, it makes no sense whatsoever to play Dragon Quest III before you play the first two. There is a twist at the end of III that I won't spoil, but it will have no effect unless you play the first two games before you play the third. By the way, the first three DQ games are best played in their NES incarnations, as the remakes are ugly and have zero challenge.

I hate everything I have seen about the new Zelda game. I hate the Playmobil/Playdoh artstyle, I hate that they are bringing over the “solve the puzzles in any way”-gimmick from the console games just as I thought 2D Zelda was my safe space away from that crap. And I hate that Zelda just uses a copy wand instead of being a capable fighter/mage like we’ve seen in other games.

Nintendo is in the business of selling games.
