I may be wrong but I think you did alter the back neck to match the front neck. Also if the length of the skirt is the same as the front will you have enough fabric to go over the bottom for the skirt hem to be level?

Generally your back darts or princess seams add some extra curvature to allow for the bottom so adding extra length will depend on who’s drafted for, personally I have a big bottom so need extra room but some people find less it needed! So when I do my final sample it take a look at how the hem sits and add some curvature to the back to accommodate if needed ☺️ I’m not sure what you mean about the back neck though, do you think the back neck is too deep and similar to the front?

21:40 At this point, you can pass the iron to help with this process. I find it easier this way, and it was easier to sew❤❤. Loved this pattern. All my fam and friends are asking me to make on for them😊

How big are the eyelets you are using. I feel like I order them thinking they are describing how deep they are then they come and it's how big the hole is. I just want little ones for fabric

These are about 1cm wide I think! They will all be measured by size of hole not the depth as they squash down when inserted so the depth isn’t really an issue :)

I have just made my second pair, I reduced the waist height by aprox 2cm, as the ultra high waist does not suit my style, but it took nothing away from the look of the trousers, they are beautifully drafted, and look so tailored, I am extremely pleased with my 2nd pair, and now that I have the fit right Im already planning a pair in a higher quality material ready for the party season. Wide leg tailored trousers are all over the highstreet at the moment, so I feel right on trend for once 🥰

Bag is BEAUTIFUL! If I want the lining to be patchwork as well, would it be the same amount of squares for the outside of the bag?

I’m so glad you like it!! Yes you would do the lining exactly the same if you don’t want the binding effect on the top, if you do want that, just add an extra 1cm to the top squares

@@kats_journey_00 yes it is 😊 (UK sizing so if you’re not familiar with UK sizing, be sure to check the size chart)
