I may be wrong but I think you did alter the back neck to match the front neck. Also if the length of the skirt is the same as the front will you have enough fabric to go over the bottom for the skirt hem to be level?

Generally your back darts or princess seams add some extra curvature to allow for the bottom so adding extra length will depend on who’s drafted for, personally I have a big bottom so need extra room but some people find less it needed! So when I do my final sample it take a look at how the hem sits and add some curvature to the back to accommodate if needed ☺️ I’m not sure what you mean about the back neck though, do you think the back neck is too deep and similar to the front?
