If you have to suggest places in shimoga for two days trip what would you suggest?
@supriyashashikanth9 күн бұрын
U can either choose from thirthahalli stretch or Hosanagara route... 1. Thirthahalli side .. start with sakrebylu elephants near shimoga and head towards Kavimane kavishaila, and end the day in thirthahalli n next day agumbe view point n back to shimoga n if time is there tyavarekoppa tiger safari 2. From thirthahalli u can go towards masthikatte n explore talasi abbi falls, kavaledurga fort n come back via nagara fort to shimoga n try tyavarekoppa tiger safari

What a way to enjoy the monsoon in such great scenic locations. We really loved every moment of your one day outing. I liked Devagane the most. Also I liked the location where a small stream was flowing. I had seen Nagara fort and Ambutheertha long back. I still remember my kodachadri trek with friends about 15 years back. We trekked through out in the rains and halted in Bhatru Mane. It was a great and a memorable trek of my life. Hope we will tour Shimoga after the rains. Keep traveling and have fun.❤❤❤

Biligiri ranganathanswamy temple tiger reserve is situated in Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka state. This bio geographical habitat is situated in the middle of bridge between western and easter ghats . This tiger reserve derives its name from Biligiri the white rocky cliff which has a temple of Lord Vishnu locally known as rangaswamy . It was declared as tiger reserve in 2011 .
