Wow a gr8 stream Danny, your pre show prep is impeccable., I am really digging your style mate. My takeaways: * POOP = Takeoff prep - get ready to shoot... (with the camera) * TopazLabs software is really good! * Shoot RAW * 3D Print the heck out of them printers BAM you where in business + I Love them mini Light truss stands! * Off topic or not - becoming more efficient going from the Atem to the Yolo Box looks like a great idea, the Yolo Box Ultra is $2,700 AUD... yeah/nah As much as I'd love to upgrade I'll stick with the Atem for now anyways and "when" my channel grows it's of to Yolo we go, * Great Editing software recommendation is DaVinci Resolve * Best case use of a dead TV - what a brilliant idea! * Kinda sounds like an Ad for Yolo Box but you're having a BALL there! * As you are Growing Old there you think retirement is going to be even "FUNNER". (Spoiler alert... IT IS!) * Ai in Ps looks realistic You good sir are so modest it is heartwarming to see such gentleman traits in 2024. With much Love, Respect & Appreciation I have Subscribed and happily leave a HUGE Thumbs Up. To a new friend in the great land of UPOVAZ cheers from the great land Down Under (Disclaimer I'm five months older than you and also happily married to a wonderful female/real woman).

Is Creality the only company making a belt printer?
@dannydodgelive2 ай бұрын
No, I know there are several others out there that do, but I really don’t know the names of them

You make me want to get one of my own even though i have one in my workplace.
@stuartlark64414 ай бұрын
Do you use any type of adhesive on the belt, if so which? and do you apply it to the entire belt before the print starts or just to the area that the print needs? Love this video, glad I came across it as I'd given up on my cr30 because it just had no consistency, so it's just sat gathering dust for the last 6 months but I really want to make it work because it offers possibilities that other printers don't.
@dannydodgelive2 ай бұрын
I don’t, but I know others who have used stuff. I just wish I knew what it was.

I dont understand why your belt rollers are so high, on mine if i crank the bed all the way down there is still at least a half inch gap between my straight edge and the belt roller
@danielayvar50752 ай бұрын
This is the same case with my CR-30. I'm assuming he may have a different iteration of it.
@danielayvar50752 ай бұрын
@efboiz5302 turns out that the rollers were attached incorrectly on mine. Simply swapping the left and right attachments to the rollers at the end of the bed fixed this for me. Thats creality quality control for ya.

When using a 4k camera on the input, does it really keep the resolution when you crop in? Does in scale back from a downscale 1080p or the real 4k input?
@dannydodgelive4 ай бұрын
If you have a 4k camera coming in on a 4k HDMI cable, it scales to the resolution of that portion of the 4k image. Then depending on what resolution you're streaming, it will upscale to that.

Question: I have access to an ATEM mini (original not the pro) that I use with OBS, I've been getting pro jobs for streaming conferences and seminars with virtual guests and on set guests, I need to upgrade my gear but the budget is tight since I am also upgrading cameras (I will be getting Panasonic Lumix S5 ii since I already work with panasonic cameras and also do video and photography work) I'm interested in a setup that can handle "supersource" or equivalent, and graphics, I have been thinking of getting the Yolobox Ultra since it offers a lot of features even 4K streaming for almost the same price as an Atem Minie Extreme ISO and it is ery portable and fast to setup, but I've seen very unfavorable comments on Yolobox's (Pro) reliability for streaming in professional settings, I don't mind audio issues with internal mixer since I mix audio externally with digital audio mixer, I'm interested in your (anyone) opinion about getting this Yolobox Ultra for this type of work or what would you get knowing the budget to be tight, or would you get something like the RGBLink Mini Edge or any other video switcher.

It's hard to say. I love the Ultra for simplicity, small form factor and all its capabilities. But since it is constantly being updated, there can be issues if you're loading the latest firmware. My biggest complaint is that I still get some dropped frames, which isn't good when filming moving action. They really need to resolve that once and for all. As for reliability, I haven't experience those issues. The ATEM's are pretty rock solid, but they do take more setup. So for things like weddings, funerals, conferences and standup live streams I would probably go with the Ultra, just so I don't have such a lengthy set up and tear down time. Basically I can keep an affordable price and still make good money. But if you've got the time, and the client has the money, you might want to go with the ATEM Extreme. But again, you can bring in up to 5 guests in the Ultra without any additional computers. I like this, but haven't tested that many guests yet.

Thank you for the content. I am glad I found this before embarking on Honeycomb Storage Wall builds. The 2.5 day per 210mm swath is rough but will be better with a bed that doesn't destroy the print. Hang in there! (get it, cuz they can hang on the wall)
@duffyknight20056 ай бұрын
So I started out using this video and really helped. I had several prints go really wel. Than changed filaments and few more good prints. Then just stopped printing well, it’s like it doesn’t have the same flow right on one side of the bed like I do the other and nothing adheres to the bed anymore
