THANK YOU for making this! After buying this printer I've been frustrated trying to figure out how to get my prints to properly adhere to the belt. So many content creators just talk about how cool this printer is and don't mention all the work you need to do to get it to print properly

A feeler gauge works well as well.

Great and helpful video. This machine cost a lot of money so not having it work out of the box was very frustrating. I own about seven printers for my small business and I thought this could be the next thing to elevate it. But having non stop quality issues was driving me insane. My nozzle was too close to the bed so it was exploding filament everytime it moved up. So following your guide instead of crealitys documentation saved me. Thank you

Thanks for the video! I just ordered one for Christmas, this video will help me a lot setting the printer up!

Thank you for the content. I am glad I found this before embarking on Honeycomb Storage Wall builds. The 2.5 day per 210mm swath is rough but will be better with a bed that doesn't destroy the print. Hang in there! (get it, cuz they can hang on the wall)

Fantastic video!! The step by step is perfect. I am teaching my 5th graders how to 3d print. And soon, how to 3d design! I have an Anet A8, AncherMake, FlashForge Inventor, and arriving today... Creality CR-30.

Holy crap, after hours and hours and hours of screaming at this thing, your guide fixed my issues. Not only will I subscribe, if you're ever in the NYC area I'll buy you a drink! Question! What slicer do you typically use with this thing?

Thanks for this. I've been having so much trouble with my CR-30 that I don't really use it at all. I'll try this and see if I can finally get it running well.

So I started out using this video and really helped. I had several prints go really wel. Than changed filaments and few more good prints. Then just stopped printing well, it’s like it doesn’t have the same flow right on one side of the bed like I do the other and nothing adheres to the bed anymore

I guess I haven’t had enough experience on mine to say that I know what your problem is. Wish I could help though.

Cheers man this was ultra helpful had some serious issues and confusion when setting it up initially my only question is wether or not you move that one the two screws that alows it to move freely back up?
@dannydodgelive3 ай бұрын
I'm sorry, which screws are you referring to?

Do you use any type of adhesive on the belt, if so which? and do you apply it to the entire belt before the print starts or just to the area that the print needs? Love this video, glad I came across it as I'd given up on my cr30 because it just had no consistency, so it's just sat gathering dust for the last 6 months but I really want to make it work because it offers possibilities that other printers don't.
@dannydodgelive28 күн бұрын
I don’t, but I know others who have used stuff. I just wish I knew what it was.

Hi Danny. Informative video. How long have you had your CR-30? How many do you have? How reliable has it been. Looking to add it my small print farm. Have you had any issues with prints NOT sticking to the belt after having/using it for some time? Thank you for you time.
@dannydodgelive3 ай бұрын
Sadly, I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I just need to get the right printing jpbs for it. So I don't feel like I have enough time on it to answer that quesiton.

Thank you Danny 😊 How is the printer now, 7 months later…? I hope it’s consistent still? and you can get stock of belts for a good 10 years?…

Sadly, I haven't had a lot of jobs to use on it. So I can't talk with experience on that.

Is Creality the only company making a belt printer?
@dannydodgelive28 күн бұрын
No, I know there are several others out there that do, but I really don’t know the names of them

I dont understand why your belt rollers are so high, on mine if i crank the bed all the way down there is still at least a half inch gap between my straight edge and the belt roller
@danielayvar5075Ай бұрын
This is the same case with my CR-30. I'm assuming he may have a different iteration of it.
@danielayvar5075Ай бұрын
@efboiz5302 turns out that the rollers were attached incorrectly on mine. Simply swapping the left and right attachments to the rollers at the end of the bed fixed this for me. Thats creality quality control for ya.
