"When regulatory tyranny becomes bad enough, circumvention becomes easier than compliance." That is getting close to sounding like: "Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

I like to make zucchini boats, using a marinara/ meat sauce, parmesan, and even a little bread crumb on top...bake in a casserole dish. So good! Already am starting to get a good zucchini and squash harvest.

Why 95 minutes? Isn’t raw pack meat in quarts 90 minutes?

I made this recipe and I find that it leaves a white powder on all my dishes that is hard to scrub off. If I put a cup of vinegar in the dishwasher it helps but result is still the same just not quite as bad. Any tips?

kinda painful to watch you incorporate all of that powder ..in such a small container. By the way...I'm totally going to make this recipe. Right now..I pay well for our natural pods...maybe wont be doing that anymore. Thankyou

Love the informative video. I do want to know how long with this process does the flour last in long term storage in your experience? I keep reading that only 6 month 😢 that’s not long enough 😊

If chemically, the vinegar can make the lye burn worse, then why does every person I watch on utube video say to use vinegar. That can be confusing to those learning and even Julianne whose grandmother taught her

Flour in Canada is much more expensive, so expect smugglers to be bringing fine white powder across the border. Customs guard: Hmmm. What do you have there? Returning Canadian: It's just flour, Sir. I swear! Customs guard: Uh, huh. 200 kilos. Sure it is. We'll see about that...

We grow hard neck garlic. I live in Ontario Canada so it gets really cold in the winter. I use mine as pickled garlic scapes. We are going to try them in pesto this year. I heard another channel that I follow just blend them up add a little oil and salt and freeze them. They use it as a base for pizza then add the usual pizza sauce on top of them. We want to try that also this year. We planted 100 cloves and only got 86 that came up. That should still be enough I think to get us through canning and extra for the winter.

Stir fry, biscuits, soups, anywhere you use garlic. I planted both long and short and love the ones with the scapes the best. I also did something this year called spooning- this is where you use a tool to loosen up the dirt around the onions and garlic to allow for more room to get bigger. My tool was jus an old flathead screwdriver.

Add them to pasta, dips. Grill them. Saute them. Add to other stir fry veggies.
