I have a question - we are canning for the first time this year (grands want to learn so I'm trying to learn as much as possible- been watching you and few other homesteaders- learning so much- we always froze all our produce- salsa - tomato paste and sauce you name it I freeze it or dehydrate) but I have noticed that you and others add salt to the canning jars- I started buying redmonds because of your- just love it- but which redmond salt do you use- course or super fine- and hoe much for a pint or quart jar- thanks so much for all your help and of course thanks for all your knowledge you share with everyone- FYI- freeze your sage whole- I freeze in jars take what I need =leave out till defrosted and it is like fresh- I have some that are 3 years old and are still perfect- also do to rosemary - all the hardy herbs
