This is the best vidoe for invisible peovisional cast on that I've seen. She explains the peocess well enough. I recommend slowing the play speed down to about .80 though. It helps to minimize confusion.

Thank you! I began crocheting at the end of august and I’m hoping to make some fingerless gloves but hadn’t seen this stitch before. Simple and easy to follow along and understand.

Is this titled correctly? Technically if you're working into a row of single crochets then there's no post to loop your needle around. I've been looking for the name of this stitch because I use it a lot and I think calling this a front post single crochet is misleading. If the row before was a double crochet then a post stitch would wrap around the post and not this upper space.

I just started learning English style knitting the other day. Had given up on hand knitting and was trying loom knitting... but was frustrated with it. I saw something about this style, and I thought why not try. Loving it so far. It suits me. It's comfy for my arthritus and I don't make the mistake s it always did with continental style. And now this!! Can't say I am super fast at it, but it makes sense and feels right!! Thank you so much for sharing !

I think it would be helpful to add that Lori's original instructions for this bind-off in 2x2 are different from what is shown in this video. If you search youtube for "Extra Stretchy, No Flare Bind Off for Ribbing, Continental (Lori's Twisty Bind Off)" by user Lorraine L, you can read the written instructions in the video description where she explains that on 2x2 you only do the twist when you are changing from a K to P or from a P to K, not in between two knits or two purls. Someone else here in the comments also mentioned NimbleNeedles' video in which you can see it demonstrated this way. It's called "The ultimate stretchy bind-off tutorial [Comparing 10 popular methods]" and the twisty bind off starts at the 8:06 mark.

Great video, thank you! What do I do with the one stitch when I want to start knitting? Just pass it to the needle with the rest of the stitches?

I've got no clue how this works, it looks like it wouldn't but it sure does! And it's nearly invisible too. I dislike the chain stitch look of many bind offs. This gives a really professional finished to my garment. Thank you so much!

Lovely, clear demonstration. Thank you. I have tried to learn this technique from a couple of other sites but the demonstrators either went too fast or were using continental-style stitches, which I couldn't follow. This one was perfect.

@knittinghelp I got the stitch down. Fingerless gloves, each end beginning stitch was SL1. ?? WHAT if my long tail unraveled in a freak way and is no longer usable for this stitch???
