Hello , UberGeeks, i have a problem with this exactly computer you teardown. When i see you open it up, the pin that you said once open , we need to reboot motherboard, i think it concern about the date and time issue. I facing a problem that sometimes i press power button and nothing happen, just the light on the off and on all the time till i hold it to turn off. One more, the date and time in my computer always wrong, even if i change that to sync but every 30 minutes, it change backward 1 hours or random, and sometime i cant shut down my computer. Can you please help me solution of my problem

Hi Simon i'm kishor from india i bought second hand fx705dt laptop few months back although previous owner mentioned it that gtx1650 has been disabled on this system but he said it can be fixed and i have no idea how he did it and how i can fix it now. currently this laptop is running on dedicated gpu and gtx1650 is not detectable even in the bios menu. can you please give me some idea to fix this so that i can go to nearby repairing store here in india and get it fixed ? (although i already tried to speak with the repair guys but they have no idea )

Hello, I have an Asus Vivobook Model S5402Z with factory 12Gb RAM & 500Gb SSD memory. I called asus tech support and asked them for my maximum upgrade specs. They said i could only max out my RAM by replacing the 4Gb DDR4, 3200 MHz, Dual channel with an 8Gb to go with the 8Gb built-in for a total of 16Gb RAM. For my memory, I could max out at 1Tb type M.2 NVME. What happens if I go bigger with a 2 Tb or 4 Tb SSD and more RAM? Does it mean that the laptop motherboard will not be able to handle this? Could you please let me know what is a safe maximum spec for my upgade? Thanks!

For anyone wanting to do this the only way to get it back in oem condition is either doing it through apple, getting a replacement screen and swapping the 2 ic chips from the original screen to the replacement this is a pretty difficult and risky thing to do but there is a third option that doesnt need any of that. There are a couple sellers on aliexpress with no ic swap needed in their description/page they require photos of some qr codes from the screen and motherboard and will use that information to preprogram the screen ic. the screen i ordered there cost me 330€

Thank you so much for that but I have been using the laptop for a couple weeks now and noticed the keyboard backlight isn’t turning on anymore. I tried resetting the SMC and contacted Apple to help me fix it and they weren’t able to and now I’m going back to you to see if there’s anything you could do to help me with this please.

Does anyone know if the fabric screen model of yoga 6 can be used to replace the non fabric model one? I have the smooth plastic model and the screen is broken, I want to replace it but with the fabric style cause I like the look. (Update: I purchased the fabric screen assembly-cause it was low priced- installed it and it worked! I’ll see over the next few weeks if anything funky occurs)

Question. I installed everything the way you told me to and it works but the screen closes easily when I close it like it’s a little loose. Is this because I didn’t tighten the 3 screws on each side a certain way or is it the screen itself? I want to know before I contact the seller. MSI x670e, pc stuck at Boot debug light after every restart. I have to unplug the pc to bypass this boot light to get to windows. Pretty annoying to double restart each time. Any other suggestions?
