Abia is my home state! I was always against building airports first, but according to most economic studies, airports can often have a more significant impact on an economy than simply building factories and roads. It’s good to question your own beliefs sometimes

$1.5 billion would have been better spent on a railway that can move more people and cargo. Airports only benefit rich people. Trains are for everyone. We need to get our priorities straight.

Where is Lagos going to get the oil for the refineries or as usual get the oil from the poverty stricken Niger Deltans? Refineries should be built in the depressed areas so as to show them a sense of belonging not as a source of raw materials. Very greedy people keep on making the same mistakes all over but expect one Nigeria.

So if south Korea are to build 4 refinery's then Nigeria capital and Africans investors can build more 100k barrels like 33 of them with steel plants and also petrochemicals Complex with power and energy sectors which shall give rooms for the whole of Africa.

So will they make it easy for these South Koreans to do oil refiner business, and continue to frustrate Dangote or any other Nigerians from doing the same business?

Why would it cost $50 billion to produce 400,000 barrels per day when it cost Dangote $20 billion to build a refinery that produces 600+ thousand per day!!!!🧠

Dangote probably can't bribe as big as the bigger refineries. Nigeria is not about development. It is about how much can be stolen.

This illegal bunkering in Niger Delta should come together to build proper refineries and make their works legal. Nigeria can own the entire African market and add some European and Asian countries to reliable customers.

Some Nigerians their mind and brain are so damaged that no matter the good news and progress made by the Nigerian government, they will still find something negative to say about it. One thing is certain, Nigeria shall fully rise to the point that all naysayers would have no option but to sing her praise.

With all the oil derivation and the bunkering going on in the Niger Delta, Southsouth sgould be far ahead of Lagos state. But No. Instead of the politicians enabling their people to developed their states, the are busy forming the militias creating insecurity in the zones. Corruption has also eaten deep into their fabric as money neant for development are siphoned into private pockets. You all witnesses to the development, hopefully, other Southwest states should also key in by developing their infrastructures. This is the best way to achieve rconomic development and peace.

This is some how a good news and at first i wanted to accuse Tinubu and his Lagos political gang for wanting to deal with Dangote in terms of pricing but... in fairness, Nigeria and Lagos is a business hub and dangote is a private company, so any other private company can decide to build too. this is good for competition and price will crash as we saw in the mobile telecoms sector. So over all it is a good development

Purchased is the key word. Its iron and steel industry has become a white elephant built at Kogi, siphoning $40 billion with nothing to show for it. Right now, its economic survival is at stake as it is heading towards to economic dismemberment, collapsing like a bubble of soap. Dabbling and jubilating in the purchase any warship from China is purchasing a fool's gold as those warships were meant for scrap anyway. Nigeria bought them as a braggadocio always notorious for a big for nothing notion and the nation calling itself the giant of Africa.

Please, one refinery should be built in the Southeast to help their economy to grow if they are not going to burn it. Ondo state also deserved one refinery. It is advisable that this type is spread to different parts of Nigeria.
