Phasng is a stock effect on the Fusion. Just to the FX section and add it as an insert or bus effect.

I was thinking about getting this i have a kodamo essence fm mk2 very powerful fm synth. But i like the casio for his phase distortion flavour and lush fm.

Both the VZ-10m and VZ-1 are built like a tank. In addition, the VZ-1 has an excellent keybed and 3 wheels (pitch + MW1 + MW2). MW2 has a spring like the pitch bend so it's also an excellent master keyboard.

La razón es que no es enteramente digital. De hecho, solo los osciladores lo son. Lo que más determina el carácter del sintetizador (VCA y filtro) son analógicos y además basados en un clon que Korg desarrolló del mítico filtro SSM2044 .

You who are playing Oxygene 4 in this videoclip I don't want to mention you or other guys who have posted videoclip playing Oxygene 4 from their Synths/keyboards etc is playing that track bad, but it sounds not the same as the original even though which Synths/Keyboards, music programs etc you are using, so it shall sound the same as the original. But I like your version of course ☺

Sure. It's a hard job to recreate the original JMJ sound. Not even JMJ himself is able to do it. Check his video "Oxygene in your living room"... He used the original equipment and yet wasn't able to replicate the same RMI lead sound... by using the RMI ;-)

No matter how people make their version of Oxygene 4 by Jean Michel Jarre with the use of instruments etc that were used in the original, it doesn't sound the same because you don't have the same synths, keyboards and equipment etc that were used in the original Oxygene 4.

Great video. Although SY22 is more simple, and "gritty" here, it still have that kind of a metallic "SY sound" here, maybe more simpler than SY35 and up here, tho. Programming is a nightmare as usual, but if you will invest your time in it, it will sound cool and great here, like the classic "Yamaha" gear here, tho. Sad that i don't have much room space for keyboard synths here, only own a PSR-E423, and a SY35, which im in love with, tho. lol.😁 Does the SY22 have a built-in "Demo dong" here, like on SY35 and up? Thanks!

well, not so hard to program. The FM parts are presets that can’t even be modified from the user interface, and the sample based parts are as easy to program as any other rompler. It is indeed a very fun synth when it comes to sound programming. I’m not sure about the demo song on the SY22. Sadly I have sold it and can’t check right now. Maybe there is something about that in the manual

Was broke one white key in highest octave here, and its almost impossible now to order it from ebay here now... -sigh- So it is are waiting again, lying in shadows again, tho. -sniff- Thanks for a great video, though...

I had to replace two keys on my SY35 (they were badly damaged by the previous owner). Have you tried ordering them at Synthtaur? They had stock at that time and wasn’t expensive at all. syntaur.com

@@JoseAngelMorente Dosent tried, but i live in Russia, so... It's a alot of problems with both international shipping and buying here, tho. Was keeping an eye on a ebay lot with those keys here, but its unknown when i will order them, meaning the current complications now, tho. :/

@@vjun007 oops... ordering at an US shop from Russia it is indeed a problem now (especially now...). Maybe you can find someone who make the order from the EU and resend it to you? It would be probably easier than ordering by yourself.

Use a patch that has aftertouch enabled. It is done per-patch.

Just be sure the patch you are playing has some mapping from the aftertouch to some parameter (pitch, lfo, whatever…)

A VZ is an FM synthesizer. On the other hand, the FZ is a sampler with an analogue filter. Both are great instruments, yet quite different from each other. If you don't want to mess with ancient floppy disks and long load times, the VZ is better. But if you're on the experimentation side, the FZ could be a very interesting beast.
