Did the Japanese do any crash testing on these or did that occur around the year 2000 in the United States which then mandated at worldwide? I've seen European and Chinese car crash that were dreadful, but this is a Toyota and they don't do stuff like that anymore haha Need to spend some time driving a right hand drive car to convince myself, the utility and cuteness of these, the Toyota seems about a third bigger than the Mitsubishi delica which has all the cool funky that I like come up I've had montero's for 25 years

Very nice. Just seen your newer van for sale and this popped into the feed. This is really lovely and very factory. It's also likely TRD-built like the Crusing Cabin given the grey edging trim on the camper interior. Would be good to see the interior lights on and yes the fridge is very good. These are just as good an any modern unit, probably because they run on R12 and both the insulation and coolant system is top top. I'd like to sit down with anyone from the factory who designed or put these together to learn how they went about the process and the range of options. Somewhere there must be a filing cabinet full of records, no? Again, lovely, very original and a joy.

Nice one guys. Never seen the relocation of the cabin AC unit like that and I'm guessing the van doesn't have the rear (engine driven) heater unit as I didn't see any controls. Thanks for going into the details of the upgrades. I'll need to have a look at your website to see how you do the rear lift on leaf springs. Be interesting to know a bit more about the leaf springs, too so I might drop you a line. I see it's also got a towbar. I take it that's your LH rather than the KH series model? The van looks really nice and the semi hitop (MRF or SMRF) gives great room. Read the comments on turbo for the 3L and be interested to know your approach, esp in boost compensation. Again will drop you a line on this. All in all very nice and tidy and well sorted for the next owner. The previous owner clearly also took great care to make it a fab van. I know the vid is for selling it, but thanks for makin' and sharin'.
