One of the lesser-known JDM imports, this double cab Hiace has all the charm of a VW Doka with Toyota's renown reliability. For starters, this rig clocks merely 7,000 original miles, making this pickup literally like-new. This mid-engine, 5-speed 2wd Toyota ToyoAce / HiAce is powered by the 3Y gasoline engine, also featured in the 1980’s Toyota Space Vans, and know to exceed 300,000 miles before a rebuild is required. With 4-doors and seating for six, the rear bench seat folds up to allow for additional inside storage space.
Clearly garage-kept for the duration of it's life, the truck is in immaculate shape... no rust.
Much love went into making this truck 'road-trip-ready'. Consistent with all the vans we sell, she has received a full maintenance update: new distributor cap and rotor, new spark plugs and wires, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh differential oil and transmission oil. This van is RHD ( right hand drive ) but is very easy to get used to. Although the steering wheel is on the right side, the control pedals are oriented the same as a standard domestic vehicle ( gas pedal on the right, brake in the middle, clutch to the left ) so your reflexive driving skills are preserved. This is a JDM import, similar to the domestic Toyota 4x4 vans from 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1989, or like a Town Ace, Master Ace, LiteAce, or Mitsubishi Delica. You VW Volkswagen Syncro Vanagon and Westfalia camper guys would digg this thing as well.

Lovely looking truck. I saw a similar truck in Silverdale Washington, just outside where I work. I couldn't tell whether it was a Toyota HiAce truck, or if it was something else. But I could tell that it was JDM. :)
