Woahh... shaving more and more time off, pretty crazy stuff I didnt know sub40 was possible in this update, but here we are, with more potential to go even lower Now I wonder, will bandit be the better class choice? Or at least katar mastery for the charge attack, it deals pretty crazy amounts of damage in my experience, so maybe that would shave some more time off encounters

Great run, had no idea you could get the warp from the back like that. Small optimization, you can lethal strike in Crescent Keep from the top platform to the waterfall to skip the window jump and fall into the first glyph. Couple of spear mastery jumps makes getting up the platforms faster.

I just beat the colossus on my first playthrough yesterday as a Mystic build who put 0 points into health and seeing how much your health is going up by even a little bit of investment made me realize I made the game infinitely harder for myself haha.

I kinda forget how much some of the enemies' look like Digimon. The slimes big ears and just murderously cute.

Impressive! I'm curious about a couple of things with this run though: 1. What makes fighter faster than bandit in this run? Wouldn't the extra jumps make some of the skips easier? Does rage upping your damage output really save that much time over the additional skips you can do with agile technique from bandit? 2. Is there a point to still picking poon now that you don't seem to be using leg up? Sturdy would let you play a lot more aggressively, and I'm sure that'd make the fights quicker.

Honestly a really cool run!! Was wondering for a while what a speedrun of this game would look like, especially after finding out just how many maps you could go out of bounds on Also question, for that first catacombs, couldn't you have used that first key you got to open the door in the beginning room instead, and saved some time?

So mesh did a bandit speedrun, and you did a fighter speedrun, so now we just need a mystic speedrun

I think the first time we played Wisp were in the first area and them slim in the day.

My first run was with wisps and then my second had slimes so I’m guessing it’s just rng

Couple of notes for anybody going to run this: Fighter may have the fastest and most consistent clears with its higher bulk and high damaging heavy attack breaking through defense better than other classes, plus is less required to use skills before level 10 and has more weapon types allowing more consistent drops in getting strength weapons. Timer starts on select character and ends when colossus is dead. The run is very RNG heavy, getting xp tomes can make or break thresholds in runs. May or may not be allowed based on rules of the run, mine ended up getting none so this was a tomeless run. Storage chest is off limits completely until the game is over. Catacombs seems like the way to go for xp since the enemies are generally higher leveled and have different affixes at random granting more xp albeit harder to kill. The boss also awards a massive amount of xp, plus the quest does as well and gives consumables for clearing the higher leveled ones, making it so you can buy more consumables for what you are missing (hp, stam, mana, ect). Each class should have its own time since they are very different to run each run. It wouldn't be fair if one class clears 15 minutes slower which thus means it can never be #1, so each class choice should be restricted to having its own best time. Rock throw is absolutely goated.
