Way too much cacao. Use no more than a teaspoon. Also add ½ teaspoon turmeric powder for added flavour and anti-inflammatory goodness. As others have mentioned, process the nuts and seeds first, then add dates, I prefer to chop the dates to speed the process and save wear on the food processor. Instead of water, add coconut oil or salted butter (no need for salt). Roll in desiccated coconut when done, they look nicer and wont stick together.

Hi Libby, I found your talk on the conscious club really great! I've shared alot of similar ideas and thoughts to you and hearing them from another person makes me realize that someone else shares those same values as me. I really want to make my career about sharing what I know with others to better their mental health. What is your advice to someone who is starting out? I started studying environmental science but I really enjoy working with people and learning about how to reach full potential using science about the body and mind.

It helps to pulse/chop the nuts with the food processor first also. I also don't use near that much cacao or cocoa. Typically use only two to three tablespoons max to avoid bitter aftertaste.

This recipe is so high in copper and not good for estrogen dominant individuals like me. If I consumed these I definitely would have brain fog or worse. It's so difficult to find good low copper or protein-rich snacks.

I'm 51 and female, I've been doing keto for 21 days. I'm only down 2 lbs. Please help. I don't have the cravings that I had and I have a little more energy. My hot flashes seemed to increase that first week and a half. I want to keep following the keto diet, I just want to see some results that so many others have experienced.
