If you’re clipping, how frequently are you doing that?

It seems like there are ants in my fig tree. Initially, I thought that the plants and fruits were drying up due to the intense heat, but a few days ago, I noticed that ants are coming out of the soil.

Looks like expensive bag solution.. probably easier and cheaper to buy lots of chicken manure and biochar.

Fascinating. Thank you for sharing. Lucky Staff to have a carpark like that. I was a little surprised that I didn't see any cucumbers

My watermelon is 6 weeks old, but it really doesn’t look good. The leaves aren’t big, and the bottom leaves are yellowing. Is it because I didn’t give it a support system

We planted some seeds this year and got a few. We didn’t know anything about them, just wanted to see if it could grow here. This helps me know when they are ready. Thanks

I just threw seeds in my hell strip and waited for the rain. Then a few weeks later the lupines shot out of the ground. Then i discovered they were toxic to people and animals 💀

Mulch, mulch and more mulch. Compost or manure is ideal.

My suggestion Is to add organic matter in whichever form, for faster results (as in ammending soil) i would suggest integrating some mature compost or manure (even both Is good) but if you are just looking for an immediate way to avoid the soil from drying then i would suggest you to use mulch, and in this case you also have many options, you can use straw, leaves, bark, woodchips and many more, hope this helps

Only real fix to clay is to cover it with organic material and then over time work the organic material in.
