@@camdenriegel4467 thanks for the comment. And yes, after he and the frenzied bots fall down from the vents, he can run out of the room and head deep into the hallways. I’ve seen him go as far as the recreation hall.

When this video started, I asked myself "How are all these chests going to despawn so they don't clutter up my base?" Having watched the end of the video, I now realize that there are other related concerns that need to be taken into account.

Hahah…yes, there is a means to have them despawn. I could script it like they would despawn automatically after some time had passed, or maybe even after you close the box.

I know this is a somewhat old video, but I can't ever seem to find this spot. I can't seem to zoom in as far, which I think is part of my issue. Is that a setting thing? Also, makes me wish Starfield had a coordinate system; it'd make this stuff much easier! But great video all the same =) Edit: Of course, 5 minutes after posting this and trying again, I find it right away. Thanks =)

Burn Cutter player here. Since you went out of your way to point out that random Cutter, is there any chance you could slap Extended Mag, Rapid Fire, and Titanium onto it? Or failing that, in Part 1? I am making my own for personal use, of course, but RamTech seems like the kind of place to realize the advantage of these three buffs on a bog standard Cutter.

Hahah! Thanks for commenting! Were you thinking of having those mods on a regular cutter or a rifle like I did? I actually made a lot of modifications to the rifle to make it very powerful, but let me know what you were thinking and I can place it on a random cutter in there.

@@JRamosWorksGaming Oh, I never mentioned the rifle, just the fact that you pointed out a Cutter among the random clutter. I also specified a preference to the Burn Cutter build/playstyle. That is to say, someone who rushes to Rank 4 in Lasers and fights exclusively with a Cutter. The Thermal DoT from Rank 4 Lasers is both Percentage Based, and stacks on itself. It only has a 5% chance to proc, but the Cutter has an insane fire rate. In short, the base game Cutter goes from a humble mining tool to a *Boss Killer.* ...minus resistances, of course. Now take the above, make it fire faster, fire longer, and have less Mass. Three effects useful for both its role as a mining tool, and in melting Terrormorphs. Sure, one could bake those stat changes directly into the weapon and give it different effects, but that seemed a bit much to suggest.

@@Starcat5 Cool. I added the modifications to the random cutter in the clutter. It may not look like it's firing faster, but it definitely is and it shows in the stats. I tested it out in the shooting range and it definitely fires longer and it chunks out a lot more out of the practice bots in a shorter amount of time. The creation with this update has been uploaded.

I have yet been able to duplicate the issue on my side, so I'm not sure what might be causing it at this time. I do wonder if it might be conflicting with another creation. I may just pull back on what bonuses it provides just to be more on the safe side.

As far as I know BC7 sRGB DX11+ is the format you should be saving the dds files in. That allows for transparency, and should be the most compatible with the game. 5 is probably fine, but 1 I think loses pretty much all the optimization of the dds format. I'm not even sure it generates mipmaps for LODs; so I think you'd pretty much be using full res textures even if it was so far away you could barely see it. If I'm not mistaken, the higher the number, the more levels of detail it supports. So 1 would be 1, 5 would be 5, but which LOD is being used from the mipmaps are likely arbitrary. Up close, it will always be the highest LOD, but it's anyones guess after that I think. When I checked to see which format to save the dds in for SF, the information I found suggested we should be using BC7. That was somewhere on the modding community on Reddit I think. Granted, it's quite likely that's the case though, as I don't think dds has really changed much in years.

Thanks for the compliment. The card can be found underneath his bed, right by his locker. There's a safe hidden behind some boxes.

Also… I love how they behave on my ship. Always in a different spot, sometimes altogether sometimes not. Little and Big Jimmy always seem to grapple for my attention over the other, and everyone of them including the micro all look at me adorably as they pass. Ok,maybe not Armament, going to start taking him with me as backup. Cheers

I love this mod. They are all on my ship. Couldn’t find the key for the Red doggie bot tho. Edit I’ve just read your hit for one of the others. Under a bunk? Dude that’s just mean lol lol. I thought I was pretty clever when I found the one in the fridge tho. Seriously you should be proud. Excellent mod and a really fun little quest. Thanks for all the goodies in there too! I’ve subbed.
