We played, we tried We laughed, we cried We succeeded, we died We respawned and thrived From the zombies, to the endermen From the skeletons, to the pigmen From the spiders and creepers And from those annoying griefers From the biomes of jungles to sands To the mushrooms and other obscure lands From the snow and ice To the swamps which never looked too nice From moments with friends we’ll cherish From a time we hoped Herobrine would perish From the great animations To the KZbin sensations Along with those musical incantations I thank Mojang for creating my childhood Much better than just ‘good’ I think I speak for everyone here When I say this is not game of the year It’s the game of the century As it offered us with plenty And these memories will never leave Just like the thought of first playing as Steve So I say close your eyes And listen to the music with surprise As your memories of Minecraft were once apart But now can be fixed like a broken heart In order to find your memories core You must go back to the world of Minecraft once more And defeat the Ender Dragon one last time As the sweet sounds of your childhood begin to chime One last thing, for me to say Which would be, have a nice day Also for you to never forget this game Nor the journey that came As a part of that journey was the end Quite literally, not pretend Just like this poem, which I hope you have all read As I would love it if this poem and this game is remembered once I’m dead.

@@andreaszoeller Its at about 1:10 in infernalentertain’s upload of the original, that little accompaniment that appears in the background I can kind of hear it in the overtones at about 0:50 in this version, which I must say is a really cool cover.

do you hear in the piano overtones that little up down, probably between the first and second harmonics which is very similar to that in the original

Zoeller. You’ve done it again. You’ve made my day. I’m a little late ti the party I know, however ik like to say 2 things. 1: I have no idea how to put this in the way I feel, so I suppose words will have to do. You are so right about the aging thing. Like you simply do not know what will happen in such a short amount of time, and how much you may long to be back in your old self. 14. That’s how old I am. 14 wee small years. Young. In the grand scheme of things, very young. A decade plus younger than you. I’m content with my life right now. Starting high school, I have many good friends, a loving family, a warm roof over my head and good food, and so on. Yet I still know that in hell probably not even 5 years from now, I’ll be sitting with someone. Maybe a friend. Maybe a family member. Maybe a girlfriend (or whoever my partner might be, who knows what can happen in 5 years) and just think to myself: “damn. I really wish I was 14 right about now.” And in 5 years from then, I’ll be thinking: “Damn. I really wish I was 19 right about now.” And so on and so forth. But what I’m trying to say here is that you just don’t know what will happen, and how much you might miss it. It you told me when I was 11 that I’d have a girlfriend in 2 years, I wouldn’t believe you. But in 7th grade I dated someone. Never thought it would happen. Didn’t think about it really. But there I was. And now, for example, if you said that my friend group, hell my life as a whole, would be vastly different in 5-6 years, I don’t know if I’d believe you, but you just don’t know. And it’s times like those, where things are completely different from how they used to be, that you just think to yourself: “huh. I never thought it would be this way.” But you’re still as happy as you were. So does it matter? You’re still happy right? There’s the thing. That’s true you are still happy but you’ve lost that innocence. You’re not as carefree or as self conscious. But those things are things you experience regardless. It may batter you down, all those dark thoughts and emotions and such, but it’s times like those when I’m brought to remember a lyric from a song. Blame, by Air Traffic Controller, and the lyric is: “if there is time to bitch and whine, then there is time to try again.” And I use that when I feel down and it works. It makes you who you are, just as time does. 2: thank you man. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Your music has been a big part of my life for a while now, and while I’ll remain hopeful, I know it’ll probably be the last we hear of you for a while. So I just wanna say thank you for all the life messages and stuff you have (at times perhaps unwittingly) conveyed through your music and videos like this. Thank you Andreas Zoeller. Love from the States. I’ll catch ya later :)

Hi andreas. Erstmal super cooles Projekt.
@andreaszoeller3 күн бұрын
Hello! Dann weißt du in welche Richtung du eventuell mal „upgraden“ willst! Viel Spaß beim Kreieren! <3
