Hello there!
Hope ya'll had a wonderful christmas with your loved ones!
I was wondering if C418 still makes music for the new updates of Minecraft, but unfortunately it seems like Microsoft and him don't get around too well, because of copyrights and stuff. I don't know about you guys, but I believe that C418 and his vision for what the music in this game should feel like had a huge impact on the game's success.
I got inspired by a video by ‪@1noski‬, who also put out an original idea for a minecraft soundtrack in the style of C418, for his legacy lives on!
Should I make more videos like this?

This is very close to actual Minecraft music! There are some songs that C418 started making for Minecraft but never properly saw the light of day, only ever being released in previews and then forgotten. This music reminds me of those lost Minecraft soundtracks and I love it!

After listening to this song on a loop over and over, it makes you reflect on your childhood... When you turn on your console and insert the new game you just bought into your console called Minecraft. Starting a new world in survival, having no idea what is going on or what you will do. First, you start to mine a tree collecting the precious five logs of wood, and two oak saplings. As you open your inventory unlocking your first achievement, you turn those wood logs into wood planks and sticks. You craft yourself a workbench and make yourself a wooden pickaxe from there. You travel to a nearby cave as you mine three stone blocks to craft a stone pickaxe unlocking the achievement of "getting an upgrade," and keep collecting enough stone to make yourself a furnace. As you travel through the vast world of Minecraft you encounter the most beautiful sights you would see. As you are traveling through the world you wonder where you're going to get food but in the distance, you find yourself around sheep. You take out your workbench craft yourself a stone sword and begin slaughtering the sheep for food even though you feel sorrow for them. Suddenly you realize that you have collected a new block called "wool" and craft yourself a bed out of it. As the sun begins to set, you create your first base, a dirt house, and you place your bed inside the dark room with your furnace by your side. You watch as the moon rises up, and zombies and skeletons begin to spawn, a frightened you interact with your bed getting the achievement of "sweet dreams" as you fall asleep to your first night in Minecraft. Thank you for creating a song identical to C418's music. The nostalgia really kicked and all these memories just passed through my head from the "good old days."

Not sure if anyone else has commented this, but apparently C418 did actually make a 3rd volume for Minecraft, but Mojang didn't want to keep working with him. Not sure if that's true, but I think C418 has all but confirmed it. The Minecraft soundtrack is truly one of a kind, I hope they can reach an agreement and release volume 3 of the soundtrack. I'm a big fan of Lena Raine, but the newer music just doesn't quite hit that special Minecraft vibe.

This actually fits his style very well! And even further, his newer one. Since he obliviously changed from 2011 to here; this work sounds both old c418 but also with a touch of lofi/chillwave of some sort; which is exactly what he does today. Instead of (almost) pure piano like before

It's sad, but a part of me finds it fitting that c418 no longer makes Minecraft's music. His music embodies what Minecraft was. Listening to it reminds so many of us of happy childhood memories. But those days are gone now, and a new generation is making happy memories with Minecraft. It is fitting that it should have new music. Amazing tribute!

I feel like, for me, the complexity of C418s music is how it manages to both make me feel determined and at peace to keep playing the game, yet that satisfaction also draws more attention to the beauty of the outside, real world whenever I've been playing for too long, keeping me from burning out. It both makes me play the game more just as less. This really captured that same feeling; I can see myself standing outside the basis of rudimentary yet detailed wooden house, sun rising, and the music playing, giving that feeling of accomplishment and belonging, yet letting beautiful memories of the real sky and grass and loved ones seep into my mind. It's beautiful.

After some time of having this song in my resource pack. I already feel nostalgic towards it, haha. like seriously, i already made good memories to it, and I just wanna say thank you again for making this masterpiece! It would be awesome if you were to make like an original fan made minecraft album with a few songs made by you. I would listen to it!
