I love your video and yes I'm showing off. We vacationed in Wolfeboro from 1968 to 1994. Mike LaMedica my uncle purchased the land known as Port Wedlen. We were the second house in after the model house. Back then you had an aerial antenna that rotated and the dial was in the living room and you had party lines. Miss Winter Harbor with all my heart. I'm planning on visiting again.

I played in Glen Miller park the early days of my childhood. We drank the water coming from the springs there. They used to have a zoo with lions and monkeys. We moved when I was just going into the fourth grade to Oklahoma and I have only been back once just to have a look around and that park is the only thing I recognize besides my elementary school which was boarded up that I recognized and I'm 56 now. ❤️

When Iived in Delpus as a black man the town was not as friendly for black people I hope is has changed from the early 80s from james.

Delphos is a very in-group preference kind of place. They can be the friendliest people IF (the key word being IF) you are in their group (or at least, have the potential to be in their group). Even if you are white, it's hard to be accepted there if you are not "normal". By "normal" I mean conservative and only interested in the same narrow things they are interested in. Like for example, high school basketball. This is true even if you are white. A black man though? Forget it. Probably your best bet is to get out of there as soon as you can (even I did that).
