It was so much more beautiful than we expected, Bismarck was brand new territory for us! The pizza and the trail were both phenomenal! Thanks for watching!

I was intrigued by those Native American earthlodges with their literally cool interiors and looked up info about Knife River on the National Park Service site. Just what you said about the matriarchal society. And Custer's house! Lots of history...I knew next to nothing about North Dakota--thanks for the tour.

Yes the sophistication that went into building those earthlodges was something else! Custer's house was my selling point haha, thanks for watching! We're glad we could give you a little insight on the history of the area!

The 1st editor of the bis. Trib. Went to deadwood in the 1880s to see how violent it was and when returned home said not compared to bismarck. There was a shooting most every day in a town of only a couple of thousand. I think it was 4th Ave. Was called bloody 4th. Because of it.
