It's been a pleasure to know Alicia for years and be included in her book STEALING the LANGUAGE many years ago. I've enjoyed the inspiration I get from knowing her work and writing my own poems after conversing with her and publishing an interview with her. She's a fine poet of accessible meaningful poetry--and a champion of women poets.

Simply a wonderfully skilled poem of merit. Form without form, effective imagery. She live an eccentric life for her time and her appearance ghostly-she reminds me of Ezra Pound in voice, topics etc.
