It's been a pleasure to know Alicia for years and be included in her book STEALING the LANGUAGE many years ago. I've enjoyed the inspiration I get from knowing her work and writing my own poems after conversing with her and publishing an interview with her. She's a fine poet of accessible meaningful poetry--and a champion of women poets.
