As brilliant as you are, Mr Pawson I believe the flaw in your history of the church of Jesus Christ is to believe that what the emperor Constantine started and eventually became the Roman Catholic Church was ever the true church of Jesus Christ. There is no such thing as a corrupt church of Jesus Christ. A corrupt church is no church of Jesus Christ. The true church of Jesus Christ will always exist in the shadows and will always be persecuted.

With respect I do not believe David has ever claimed the Roman Catholic Church was ever the true church of Jesus Christ ? - far from it . The true Church of Christ does not create and worship in Temples, and is constantly under threat of persecution, and has no denominational title - it exists in every Country where the Holy Spirit moves. The body of Christ existed long before Constantine, and was created by Christ not any mortal man

The catholic church said the protestant do submit to the catholic church because if the protestant would really only submit to Sola scriptura, the Bible alone, they would have to keep the sabbath on Saturday like the adbventist. Check it, you will find the article of a catholic journal

Few decades later after constantins death in 337, in 364 in the city of Laodicea a concil decided that christians that keep the sabbath on Saturday ( a lot kept saturday and sunday) will be persecuted

Constantin got baptised on his death bed! After this battle he still put on coins himself next to the sun God Sol Invictus , that his father and a lot of romans officers loved. Even the sunday as a restday was for Sol invictus. People want to make it look like sol invictus and Jesus are the same God but it is'nt.

I left the Anglican Church after being raised in it, I'm now 70. The Rev Justin Welby is going down a terrible path, along with this current Pope nothing surprises me with the Roman Church but the Church of England. I'm devastated. The Anglican in Australia are now embracing same sex marriage. What next?
@DavidPawsonMinistry
@DavidPawsonMinistry 5 ай бұрын
Dont be devastated remember the Church in the New Testament is not an organisation nor an institution - its the body of Christ, the people who follow Christ not Its not just the Anglican Church , God warned his people especially in the book of Micah - where Gods standards had been compromised and preachers were preaching popular sermons - sermons people want to hear vs teachings God Wass us to hear ...... the Church as lost a fear of the Almighty God, continue to pray for the Church but dont be alarmed - things will get worse before they get better What next - euthanasia ? remain faithful and acknowledge - however bad things get - Jesus is Lord and he reigns - what we see is what He allows - Justice is coming soon

By this are you trying to defend something. Regardless you must agree that what he said about the four things was an erosion. Bishops really are nit to have any more authority than a slave or child. They were to guide the local assembly as a Shepherd. We are not to Lord it iver others

@@carlandre8610 actually ur historically inaccurate and ignorant like a true gnostic. This is preposterous, it means any man or woman can claim "divine powers?" Even Joseph Smith was smart enough to claim a laying on of hand by his God the Father and Son.

Best Bible teacher, my Bible teacher❤! I have a genuine question though...why did the father never throw a party for the son who was always with him, who did not rebel against him but actually served him? Secondly, why didn't the father go or send a servant to call the older brother to join the joyous celebration?
@DavidPawsonMinistry
@DavidPawsonMinistry 7 ай бұрын
David once said this parable is not so much about. a prodical son - but a prodical Father What does the Biblical use of the word Prodical mean ? Prodigal means wastefully extravagant OR giving on a lavish scale. Though they sound similar, between those two definitions is a world of difference. God is never wasteful, imprudent, or reckless. God is in every way perfectly generous, perfectly lavish, and perfectly bounteous - by calling the older Brother to attend this was a reunion - a Family celebration - it was a party for both brothers . The Fathers wealth was more than sufficient for eveyone - it is infact endless

David Pawson is missed. Before I die, i must leave the church with this: John Baptist was building a road, too. He began baptizing at the border of the kingdom ~ at the Jordan. These are the marchlands, if you will. That word comes from the same origin as "mark." Mark was a title written on the cover of a codex. It is a tradition in Judaiica to title a work by its first words. Mark isn't a very common Hebrew word, but I believe it appears as מערה in Solomon's discussion of the way of life. With salvation, our hearts are quickened, and we are established in the kingdom. Mark is the good news of Jesus Christ according to the prophets, specifically the prophecy in Malachi. I need to research this, but I believe "mark" appears in the form מערכהי ~ the preparation of the heart. ( it quite reminds me of a ruler in the French marclands known as a marquis.) The way of life passes through the three courts of Moses' tabernacle. The entrances become more and more narrow. It reaches a special beginning at the mercy seat. The gospels aren't copied from one another or from any source called "Q." The quickenings became available through the grace offered in Jesus Christ. The "other" 70 were the newest students in the final year of Jesus' ministry., Mark could easily have been taken from notes kept in the script (bag) of any one of those other 70. Matthew are the lessons being taught to the first 70 and concern the will of the father. Luke is by definition the "latter" part, the lessons taught to the 12 in general. They are in their third year. John, however, is the wondrous part taught to those closest to Jesus. John is יענה. I know the root ענה was in Strong's as "the beginning of the response." This, too, is a title taken from the first words of its gosspel. In the beginning was the Word ~ the word of Jah. Mark, Matthew, and Luke prepare us to love the LORD our God with all the heart, soul, and mind. But remember, the Lord our God is ONE. Out three parts have a fourth quickening called "the good part." With this, we are enabled to love our wonderful God with all our might. When you carefully compare every passage in the synoptic gospels, the progression is absolutely undeniable. We must never lose sight of grace. The benefits of Christ are ready in his hand, as ready as the salvation prepared for our mistakes. Abraham and David did it the hard way. I am not a podcaster, a preacher, or a teacher. But I wanted to know my purpose. God calls us, "Seek my face." My heart answered, "Thy face, O Lord, I will seek." Jesus is the face of God. The way of life is the journey of return. He drew me with cords of love. The Proton Psalm says the wicked desire to cut those cords "asunder" because, to them, these cords are bondage. ▪︎. I believe the church began with these teachings of Jesus. Very many words were spoken by my Lord, but his words are restricted to the foundational teachings, making them ever so cherished. Church history must begin with the lessons of salvation, righteouness, holiness, and the wonders of glory. (I have held this close for decades without ever a single second of wavering. I can not understand why the elect are left to stumble upon the roadsigns.) Faith is multi-portioned, πολυμερος. 🎟 Jesus says, "Come."

He’ totally wrong about the relationship between Judaism and Christianity. The early Christians were all Jews including Jesus. Jesus did not come to start a new religion, he came to give his life as a ransom and to correct errors that has creeped into Judaism. To say that he started a new religion is to say that God made a mistake the first go around. Christians remained a sect within Judaism, following the law of Moses just as Jesus instructed in Matthew 7:21 and Matthew 5:17. Eventually Jews ostracized all believers in Jesus who were Jewish and Christianity became dominated bye Gentiles who mixed their paganism with Christianity, making the present form of Christianity synchronistic religion Containing some truth and some error.

Hi There are some 1500 or so Audio recordings of Davids teachings available on his website - often because of the length of a teaching which could be more Ethan 90 mins, with the limitations of the length of a recording tape, initially reel to reel , then the audio cassette, - the reading, Hymns etc were cut. It was decided the teaching was the most important to keep and not shorten. So if you listen to Da vids audio recordings you will fins many talks where David reads the bible. but we don' t have any specific recordings of just David reading the Bible and for those we have its not the complete bible because there are many books of the Bible for which we have no recordings, either lost or not recorded
