Best Bible teacher, my Bible teacher❤! I have a genuine question though...why did the father never throw a party for the son who was always with him, who did not rebel against him but actually served him? Secondly, why didn't the father go or send a servant to call the older brother to join the joyous celebration?

David once said this parable is not so much about. a prodical son - but a prodical Father What does the Biblical use of the word Prodical mean ? Prodigal means wastefully extravagant OR giving on a lavish scale. Though they sound similar, between those two definitions is a world of difference. God is never wasteful, imprudent, or reckless. God is in every way perfectly generous, perfectly lavish, and perfectly bounteous - by calling the older Brother to attend this was a reunion - a Family celebration - it was a party for both brothers . The Fathers wealth was more than sufficient for eveyone - it is infact endless
