I miss my StreetHawk, got it back in 1988 in Anniston, AL when I was at Military Police School, since I was not in my home state of NY, I got amber domes so it wouldn't look like I was trying to be a cop until I could return home. Had them until 1994 when I moved to MA. Had the take downs, alleys and amber and red alternating on the back with blue domes in NYS as I was a volunteer. Ahh, yes, the good ol' days lol

When I was kids firefighters were my heroes. My mom would rent fire trucks VHS tapes from the library. “Fire & Rescue” was easily my favorite. I just loved Fred Levine’s show don’t tell approach to filming. The fires and rescue scenes look so realistic and the music makes you feel like you’re a part of the action.

Two things. Music? And currently going through firefighter 1 and seeing this for the first time I am glad that safety was taken seriously. Opening that many vents literally feeds the fire and makes it worse. Also lack of SCBA usage near the IDLH. Guess that's exactly why the best of the best are called Smoke Divers
